gaggle64 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Rayman is one of those games I'd probably pick up if I saw it for £20. It looks hilarious, but not essential for myself. I'd probably buy before I go visit my dad or something, who's always been a bit of a Rayman fan since his PS titles.
Excelle Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Annoying, I played Rayman to death round a friend's house - now I have to buy it so I can complete it
Fierce_LiNk Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 This is one of the better launch titles. It may be a minigame fest, but if you had to choose one game of this type, it should be this one. It's very fun, and there's some good uses of the wiimote. I consider the first load of Wii games to be demonstrations of the controller, like how Wario Ware and Project Rub showed what the DS could do. It is only now with titles like ExciteTruck and SSX that we can see games actually using the controller in specific genres, such as racing. This is a great game. If you can get it on the cheap, then do it. It is by no means perfect, but don't let this whole "Wii games are all mini-games" stigma put you off. The humour in this is fantastic.
