Dolphin Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Hi, I have a question about the wii online fuction. I want to play online with the wii just like I do with mario kart on my ds. Is this also possible with the wii and are there already games which you can play onlien. Or are there games which are announced which we can play online?
Alan77 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 None of the launch games are online-enabled but by 2nd quarter of 2007 you will be able to play online games. I think Super Smash Bros is gonna be the first.

Brawl, Battalion Wars 2, the next Mario Strikers game, Forever Blue (is that the correct title) and Pokemon Battle Revolution will all be online titles that should be released in Europe next year. Of course, dates may change. There should be more titles announced next year that will be online.
david.dakota Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Nintendo have coinfirmed that Q2 is the rough date for online launch. Smash Bros is a likely contender, although Nintendo may wish to replicate the success of DS WiFi, and launch Mario. Most likely third parties will join in.
