gmanprime Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 http://hawkingskater.ytmnd.com/ Exactly. That is how I feel.
Flaight Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 you have more compassion for the people that are letting the remote fly from their hand, whereas i just think it's their fault all they have to do is hold the controller Please allow me to add another angle to this. One problem with our generation is that we are so used to gaming. So we don't fully understand another point of view. I can imagine my grandmother (or non-gaming friends) throwing a wii remote at the TV, especially with bowling. You hold down A button first, so it feels like you are gripping the ball. Naturally, the brain would think that the next move is to let go. So you loosen the grip and the remote goes flying at the TV. It's especially easy in the heat of family/friends screaming at one another. It's both a tragedy and a proof that Wii is interesting for everybody. People throwing the remote at the TV isn't about holding on to the controller incorrectly. It's more to do with Wii being instinctive for everybody (especially non-gamers). So instinctive that less experienced will really throw it.
