Does it make use of the touchscreen at all?

Today's two new releases (Harry Potter - Hermoine, Lego City - Chase McCain) are included in Sainsbury's buy one get one free. So that's £13 for both of them.

StarBlood Arena is £20 on Amazon at the minute. Anybody played it yet? Is it worth picking up?

Just found on the Nintendo of America site that this will have stereo speakers. They seem to be well hidden on the press shots we've seen so far so I wanted to make sure it wasn't just mono like the old Nintendo 2DS.

A few previews of this: Eurogamer Kotaku Nintendo Life Will our guys get to try this out before release? The Eurogamer preview mentioning that the controls are fiddly and that the collisions seem to be off is worrying.

Wow. Fire Emblem DLC has always been on the pricey side but this is a bit much. The game itself is only £32.

I've ordered this. It hasn't arrived yet though so I can't vouch for it yet. And at £8.15 it's a bit pricey for the raw materials, but at least I haven't had to make it myself! It's also the cheapest plain cover available on eBay. Well it was yesterday. My dock hasn't scratched my screen but I'm just worried if it's ever in the dock and the dock gets moved.

I'm glad that Nintendo have actually remembered the touch screen with this. Unlike Zelda, almost every menu is usable by touching the item you want.

Is it possible to switch between the two items that you've picked up? Like how you could in Double Dash?

I completely agree. I think that they're being a bit cheeky asking for Gold Coins for vouchers too. This is great news. It's the only Mario & Luigi game not currently playable on a 3DS officially.

I quite like the HD Rumble usage on this. I was worried they'd leave it to be the same as how the Wii U used rumble, like with Zelda. Glad that we're back to being able to hold an item and collect an item at the same time. The few of us at work with Switches will be taking them in next week so we can have a go at battle mode.

I really don't understand why they're releasing this. Who are they aiming it at? Pre-ordered the blue and black one. I really like the white and orange too!

Anybody ever had their Xbox One randomly decide it wants to move everything from one HDD to another? Mine decided to do it while I was watching a film and, because it was trying to move 3TB onto 1TB, I kept getting messages pop up saying there wasn't enough space. I wasn't impressed.

The NES Mini was excellent, so I'm really excited about them producing a SNES Mini. The SNES is probably my favourite console of all time. Also means that more people will get to own the awesome SNES Wii Classic Controller, which was previously only available via Club Nintendo. Unfortunately there'll likely be two problems. 1) Scalpers will buy them all and sell them on eBay at over inflated prices. 2) It almost certainly won't include any games using the SuperFX chip, and probably unlikely they'll include any games using the SA1 chip.

With the DSi shop closing it's made me want to pick up titles from the Wii Shopping Channel before they decide to close that now that the Switch has no access to it. What I have learnt is that you get screwed over if you buy a eShop card and redeem it on there. £25 translates to 2900 where you could get 3000 points for £21 buying it direct. Just thought I'd drop it in here to warn people.

I'd been looking at the 3DS Adventure Time games. Quite a big price drop on Investigations. Both significantly cheaper than physical as far as I can see.

Woop I managed to pick it up earlier from Amazon! £75 is a tad pricey but then I can't remember how much I paid for Fates.

It was like this is Splatoon, but what's the reasoning behind completely disabling the right stick for vertical movement when motion is enabled? Zelda lets you do both and that works pretty well.

That's a really good point. Before a match you should be able to pick your loadout and see what others on your team have chosen.

Yeah and a pretty good one in my opinion. Sets it well apart from other 'shooters'.
