I have also not found the GBA games hard but this really is quite hard. I have only playe dthe first few levels but I have seen the game over screen more times than I would usually like to admit. I am playing the game on the Normal rather than easy difficulty mind you. Also I am trying my hardest not to use the characters of advanced level (as you get more exp for characters at lower levels). I would have said that PoR was harder than the GBA games (in the west - they are easier than the jap ones) and that RD is harder than PoR. However I love it. It really is like the game is a continuation of the previous game, in difficulty as well as story.

Thanks for that, Jonnas. I am still a bit confused - what does using your PoR save file actually get you in RD? Can't remember if I got round to completing RD on hard. Can you only use your save data for the corresponding difficulty? Looking forward to the game loads now - especially given the difficulty. Mine still has not come from Amazon.

Hey, do you guys remember the rumoured release list (that I think Nintendo did then eventually release more or less)? It was in this news item: http://www.n-europe.com/archive.php?display=200801 Well, it did not have a release date for Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, despite the fact it has just been announced as being released on March 14th only a month away. I guess what I am trying to say is that it shows Nintendo could still surprise us by pulling a reasonably-soon release date out of their hat. [i realise this is completely against my previous negativity on the subject, but hey, I get to play the latest Fire Emblem next month. ]

It does seem as if there are some quite serious issues in the overworld that can affect your enjoyment of the game. It just seems like other reviews were able to put up with it to get to the core gameplay. That being said, I am going to get the game. EDGE has given it 9/10. Although I often think that EDGE can underrate some games I have never played a game EDGE gave 9/10 without really enjoying it.

Frankly all of the things you mention pail into insignificance when compared with regional lockouts/regional delays. That is surely the worst thing.

I am going to get Zack and Wiki and Ghost squad as long as I can get it for 20 quid. It is supposed to be budget right? Endless Ocean and Crossbow Training were budget titles for 20 quid but does anyone know if 3rd party budget titles are that price as well? Wii Chess is also being released on friday. Don't kill me for suggesting that someone might get it. I have fond memories of Chessmaster on the original Gameboy.

As with a few others here there were some times when you wanted to change the camera angle but could not. It made some situations slightly more difficult than they should have been but it happened rarely to me that I don't think I could call it a serious criticism of the game. Most of the time on the actual galaxy-style levels it was fine.

Hoho. That was a good one. For number 3 you will probably need the Wii Zapper + Crossbow Training (GS came with the zapper in japan but I don't think it will here), which I just got for Christmas. Don't believe the reviews! It is a lot more fun than you would think. Anyway, back on topic, I will get numbers 1 or 3 as well. I will of course get Wii fit and Smash Brothers but that could be any time. Also after the NGamer review No More Heroes seems a lot more interesting.

(Although is not bluetooth it has its own frequency like the wavebird) Good Points: - Very small and lightweight, perfect for resting on your lap whilst playing. - Quite cheap really, for a wirless keyboard. - Despite the instructions saying I needed to press a button on the receiver to wake the keyboard up, I never actually seem to have to. I just levae the receiver in the wii and type to wake it up. Bad Points: - Occasionally num lock gets stuck on when it is first used after having switched itself into standby. Easy to turn ot off though. - I left a book on one of the keys and it drained a set of batteries once. It takes AAA

But Mario Strikers does not have the equivalent tournament options and the original game had the tournament without the online mode. Plus people on forums can just organise them anyway.....

This is what he said about other online modes. To me that says WiiConnect24 and sharing things with friends rather than other modes to actually play the main game online. I don't think anyone should start hoping about unannounced tournament or co-op 1 player modes, as I suspect they will be disappointed.

Hasn't someone from Nintendo already suggested that the third party characters would be hidden or unlockable? There could well also be licensing terms and conditions about using (or rather not using) Snake to publicise the game.

When I play Mario Strikers online I use my PC and messenger for voice chat. Can't we all do that?
