  1. They clearly have no interest at all in that side of things....everyone hoping E3 will show us otherwise but you start to wonder if it will ever happen.
  2. Yooka-Laylee

The multiplayer in Conker's Bad Fur Day and DK64 was amazing so I'm not adverse to so much multiplayer...
  3. Well Kicktraq currently has it tracked like this; It's obviously going to slowdown but we can only dream....think of all the other spiritual successors they could also work on with $24million!!!! (how amazing would it be they announce it's also going to be bundled with a spiritual successor to Viva Pinata)
  4. PC Gaming Discussion

I'd be interested to know as well...speedfan doesn't seem to anything for me!
  5. The Kickstarter is live! Plus Eurogamer have a bunch of tidbits here; http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-05-01-playtonic-launches-250k-yooka-laylee-kickstarter-campaign
  6. I'm loath to put more money into a Kickstarter especially because none of the gaming projects I've backed have been released but I've wanted a 3D platformer with modern sensibilities for a long time.

yeah that's true actually...there's two sides to it actually. People will have certain expectations for mods they've paid for. Also thrusting these kind of mods into the limelight may now mean that more casual buyers might not realize they aren't buying an official mod and that causes its own slew of issues. I'm also with you on the use of mods..mods just aren't something i would spend $$$$$$$s on.
  8. Doctor Who

I can't remember if this was posted before... I had dabbled in a tiny bit of it but now it's been updated and I intend on spending a lot of time checking out all the new content! You can find more details here: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50132/?
  9. Top Gear

Also you have to wonder if the BBC counted streaming service in that "gardening leave" if not hellooooooooooooooooooooo Netflix.
  10. PC Gaming Discussion

In theory it's great but I kind of feel like stories like this are being to common place; http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-04-24-a-paid-skyrim-steam-workshop-mod-has-already-been-pulled The thing is as well with this in it's infancy it's been relatively easy to notice who is going to police this when the mod market becomes as bloated as Steam is?!
  11. Shovel Knight

Next week and includes the Battletoads!
  12. Xbox One Console Discussion

Yeah could also be that I guess.

Hmm you don't have Kinect turning your TV on and off do you? Perhaps because I do I'm missing that part of the boot up.
  14. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

I've read the first book and was part way through the first game. So last night I decided to go back to the game, I'm only up to Chapter 2 it turns out after 30 hours. So I've decided I'm going to try and main line it through the game so I've at least finished that before 3. Two can wait, there seem to be enough recap videos doing the rounds that I will make do with that. I'm stuck in an overly complicated investigation quest that's instantly made me remember why I gave up playing but I think I've trudged through so enough that it's about to come to and end. Downloaded this guide to help me find the shortest route through the game; http://www.resonant.org/games/witcher/thewitcher_gameguide.pdf
  15. Xbox One Console Discussion

Really? I've never seen that ever! I have to admit I'm hoping the Windows 10 migration improves some of the UI problems that are solved with Kinect.
  16. Splatoon

is @Rummy ok I can't help but notice he isn't replying...genuinely worried for his safety.
  17. PC Gaming Discussion

Sounds cool thanks for the cost cutting tips, I'm more and more considering a new proper PC. Loving the reference to the trigger situation I just shared that on Facebook the other day.
  18. Star Wars Battlefront

I'm nopt sure your right about the campaign stuff; So whilst yes it may not be called campaign and may not have cut scenes in between if there are enough of these challenges I think we are good. Also really what's the difference between that and say Rogue Squadron?
  19. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Preordered on Xbox One as it's $16 off RRP at the moment. I would have preferred a physical copy but as I'm not one to trade in games it makes no odds and with a saving like that I can't complain.
  20. LEGO Dimensions (NFC Figures)

Hmmm I'd have to read up on what amiibo' actually offer. I think disgusting is a bit extreme...for example you pay $15 for two lego pieces essentially opening up two pieces of DLC plus the fact you get the actual "toy" itself when compared to say map packs for COD, or say MK X's recent character packs the pricing isn't that bad. The argument could be made that you get way more hours of our a map pack but I'd wager plenty of kids will get tons of hours out of their favourite character packs.
  21. LEGO Dimensions (NFC Figures)

Really though? I thought you could only hold data for one game at a time per Amiibo? Also yet to see a game that really uses them in a way people want...The whole toys to life thing is put a toy on a portal and that character appears on screen...I didn't think Amiibo worked like that.
  22. Roundabout

I'm holding out that this will be on Games with Gold at some point....
  23. Dark Souls II

I've been playing the first I'm well and truly hooked for sure.....Clocked up 4 hours yesterday in my first session and cannot stop thinking about it!
  24. Britain's Got Talent 2015

Yeah I do remember starting a thread. I love this show! It started on Saturday, will have to try and find it to catch up on.
  25. Your 2015 Gaming Diary

Beat DMC: Devil May Cry last weekend. I never played any of the others and really enjoyed it...action games of this type not usually my kind of game but deeply satisfying combat meant I couldn't put it down.
