Damnit. I had a feeling I forgot something. I'll sort that out as soon as I can, YoshiKing. I've also realised that I've forgotten to update the Horizontal Scrollbars aswell. Ah well...there's bound to be an update anyway. So I'll do them in the next update.

I've been running pre-RC1 for the past couple of days. So I don't know if there's a point in me downloading this RC1 and installing it. Does anyone know if there is any changes made [between the two]? At the beginning of next year.

I haven't done much of them lately. I should have an update on them over the next week. And thanks! That's WindowBlinds for ya'. You'll need to close everything down (save anything before hand that you're working on), logout of Windows, and log back in again. Everything should be alright. It's happened to me on occasions. I don't know why exactly. Do what Dragon said. You should find WinRAR's website within your first search. No. The skin requires WindowBlinds for now. I'll be working on porting the skin to an msstyle, later on. It depends on two things: Your monitor's contrast and brightness levels. When the scrollbars aren't being used, they should be light enough, to actually see them. When you hover your mouse over them, they should glow (cyan). When they're clicked on, they should go dark- which shouldn't really matter though. When you click on them you should already be aware of their position. Yeah. That's one bug I need to sort out. I've noticed it myself at times, when using firefox. It's fine in some cases, but in others, it appears. I don't understand it, Lol. Glad you like it. And thanks to the rest, for the comments.

Thanks for the latest comments, guys! And I've finally finished the Black Skin: Click: Wii - Black -- Download @ DeviantArt White will be available at a later date.

Sorry guys. I actually meant to post this update; but had forgotten. I'm thinking of just releasing the Black Substyle on it's own, then release it again later on, with the White style - once I've finally managed to complete it. I haven't been able to do much lately on it. Been busy doing other things. So I'll try and get this whole project completely finished as soon as possible. As you can see in the preview. I've did a few revisions: the Start button, Taskbar, Quick launch (can't see this in the preview though), Title bar along with the entire Window frame, Caption Buttons, More Programs Menu and finally, done some other tidying up in other places. This should be the final design of the Black Substyle. All I need to do now, is re-do the White one, to match it. I ain't too happy with the tint of white that I used, so I've decided to re-do the White style... ...I'll get the Black Style up for download within the next day or two.

Thanks guys. I should be posting an update soon.

Slight update: (On the Black VS, only)
-
You'll have to wait guys, Lol, sorry. I need to test both alternate styles first, before I release them. Plus I kinda want to get the icon set done aswell, to accompany the suite. I've done a preview: I'l also be doing other Wii hardware. Like the Wiimote and Nunchuk for example. Done 100% in Photoshop.

Thanks guys. Update!
-
The Visual Style will work on all resolutions. And thanks.

Update: I've managed to incorporate the design of the Start Menu I made, into the Visual Style. Everything is where it should be. I got the buttons to work aswell (Logoff / Shutdown). It definitely took alot of work.
-
I supposed you're right. But I was planning on creating a red one, after I've completed the Black and White ones. Oh well, I guess I could make the red one for personal use.
-
Should I do a Red Substyle?
-
Stefkov, you've got it almost right. The reason why the reflection is the way it looks, is because I was distorting it, to follow roughly the same angle as the lighter part of the Start Menu (Directly above the taskbar) -- it's supposed to represent the slanted edge on the Wii hardware; where the power, reset and disc open / close buttons are). I'll have a fiddle around with it more; see if I can make it a bit better. And thanks yet again, for the comments. Anyway. Here's a new preview: Note: The reflection isn't on here. (Decided to remove it, until I sort it out more). DCK: The Wallpapers are pretty old, Lol. But here (They are pretty large in file size): Normal: 1280 x 1024 px Widescreen: 1680 x 1050px

Thanks for the comments. I've did a conceptual start menu: It's done 100% in Photoshop. So it hasn't been broken down yet, and applied to the Visual Style. What do you guys think?
-
I'm making it, in SkinStudio. So I presume that you'll need WindowsBlinds in order to apply it. But if there is quite a few people here that are wary of Stardock, then i'll try and port it to an msstyle. Anyway, thanks for the comments so far. And I've done an update: Ignore the Inactive Help, and Maxmize buttons --still to do them, Lol. What do you think? I've attempted the white alternate substyle. But ran into some bother with it. Hopefully i'll sort it out. But I think I'll get the black version finished, and out of the way first, before I do.

Been working on a visual style for Windows XP, that reflects the Wii's look and style. Only started work on it last night. So there's obviously alot that I need to work on still. I thought maybe you guys could give me some ideas, on what I could include in the style -That's only if you're interested in seeing it fully designed though. There's going to be 2 substyles. -- Wii [black] -- Wii [White Here's a preview: Edit: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a272/tienano/WiiPreview.jpg ImageShack seems to be screwing up or something. I've got an idea for the Start Button. So I'm thinking of getting rid of the design that I've got at the moment for it. But I'll be keeping the "house" symbol, as it's focus point. Ignore the Close, Minimize, Maximize buttons. Plus anything else that doesn't seem to be part of the overall design, Lol. Oh yeah...I need an idea of what I could do for the Start Menu. Anyway. If you've got any ideas, let me know. Edit: Update added further on in this thread. Along with a conceptual creation of the Start menu. Thanks, and here ya go; take your pick: Yeah I do mind if you "nick" the CoD2 one. Sorry, but it was a gift to someone. But I can make you a new sig; just tell me what you want on it. And i'll see what I can do.

I normally don't take requests, but if anyone wants one, I'd be more than happy to --to try and see what I can come up with. And by the way. cheers.

Game disc errors / disc damaged e.t.c.
tie.nano replied to tie.nano's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I'm not facing any major problems. Just someone on another forum, has posted a thread about the GameCube, and calling it "crap", because they experienced disc errors. They said that they got error screens saying that the disc was "damaged", and to wipe the disc with a "cloth". It seems pretty suspicious. 'Cause i've never heard of any such error screens appearing on the GameCube. The only problem I have with my GameCube, is that it freezes up. But it's not a real problem. Only happens like once in a blue-moon, Lol. -
Has anyone encountered or know of error screens appearing when playing your Nintendo GameCube, that tell you that the disc is "damaged", and also suggests you to wipe it with a cloth? Has anyone? I'm just trying to figure out something.
