If I didn't notice that you were gone, are you still there?

I don't think I could face doing the start of the game any more It takes a good two hours before things start getting interesting. And I've done those first two hours at least 5 or 6 times, only for people to lose interest right as it gets good. It's SO FRUSTRATING.

It's an unscheduled break. It's the natural cycle of the Mafia games. Big surge in activity, a few great games, then a few where inactivity makes them suffer then they drop off of the face of the Earth. In a couple of months someone will resurrect the Mafia scene and everyone piles back in because they've been away from it for a while, thus the cycle starts again.

Yeah, it's heading that way. Only.. I like where we're at but want us to work more permanently.. I don't want it all to fall to pieces because I'm being hasty. Thanks for your advice, y'all. I've taken it on board and am trying to work out what to do with myself - she might be coming down from London tonight so it could be the night.. again..

I'm a lefty, and as Pook, have always played games right handed. Southpaw feels awkward, as does inverted aim. In fact, apart from writing I'm mostly a right handed person. It's an odd one.

Hahahaha I got to the first mention of that last night and I knew there was something about the word that didn't sit right with me! Now I'm gonna see it every single time I play I'm playing it on the PC however and the game is a total BEAST to run. Considering upgrading to a quad core just for a beefier experience as I keep getting irritating little freezes on loading in to a new area I know shouldn't be there (and wouldn't if I got the game on my 360).

Whilst this was a concern for me, having talked about it a couple of weeks ago I can say this isn't the case. It's not that she's only in it for the physical side of things and casual sex (it's not in her character - I was her first) but more that she's afraid it'll go wrong and ruin what we have already. She has said before that she likes how ambiguous the whole thing is though which I think was a poor choice of phrase more than anything. It really is tough. When we're together it's great, and it feels like there's no problem. It's just when I sit back and think about it without all the positivity and perks staring me in the face I realise it frustrates me as much as it does. I am starting more and more to think this could eventually be the case here, and it does hurt. She's bisexual and has had a thing for her female best friend for years that she hasn't been able to fully get over, though it has gotten a lot better. The issue mostly comes from the fact that she's not been with a woman before and she says the curiosity and 'what-if' factor will always be there. Which I can understand, though that doesn't make it any less frustrating. She also suffers from depression which skews her outlook on things at times, and having lived with 2 people who suffer with depression I know it can really mess with your decision making process. And despite all this I'm still fighting to make something work with us. And she still wants to see me, and trusts me enough to have a physical relationship with me, and I can't help but feel that she wants to make it work too.. but maybe I'm just being naive? Women are bloody enigmas, I swear.

I was thinking about this. Is there a user option to turn off the notifications? I personally quite like them but could see it getting frustrating later on down the line. If there's not, no biggie!

I was more than aware of the friend zone - having been there many times in the past - but I wasn't aware of the place I'm in now because it hadn't really happened to me. It's just frustrating because we both really like each other, and have done for a while as is evident in us seeing each other as much as possible (and explicitly telling each other this) and essentially being a couple in all but name; yet she doesn't want to commit to being in a relationship because she hasn't before. I dunno. We feel almost perfect for each other in all other areas and I want us to settle down and work on building a relationship (although we feel like we have already) but she doesn't seem ready to take that step. I just can't wait around forever.

Tales, chill out will you? The league admin controls aren't that powerful. I was league admin for a while and it's pretty much a choice of two or three options. There isn't any customization to speak of in choosing league sizes and stuff. Why the hell would Haden be lying to you? Seriously.. -- Looks like I'm probably not in with a realistic shot of winning the title with a game still to sit out, but anything can happen in Xpert Eleven, and it usually does. Bring it on Odwin.
