I'm not sure which performance i prefer. they're both tracks i could listen to whilst working. I quite liked her character in the poker face recording. The switches from being fairly upbeat in parts to being slightly down (i don't mean down, but i cant think of the word im looking for) works well. But as you say, her voice is alot better than i imagined it to be, although i'm still not a fan of that christina aguilara like wobble that is getting seriously overused at the moment.

I'm not a fan of her own work and i'm not a big fan or the original track, but i think she had a good crack at it there. Couple of mistakes, but i thought overall her voice sort of suited it and its not something within her usual comfort range (i'm guessing?? don't really listen to her) so i've got respect for that.

I tend to be completely oblivious to advancements from women when i'm out. for example, there was a lass i was kinda into a couple of years back (we're actually best mates now) who whenever we go out as a large group of mates would always point out women coming on to me, then tell how sucessfull i would be if i actually noticed. yet me being me, i just chat away and have fun, not really reading anything into anything. I did wonder a while ago if in fact she had been into me at the time? but it doesn't really matter now

The thing that we don't really take into consideration with penalties is the pressure involved on the players, so maybe this has an effect on what they decide to do when they're stood 12 yards out with one kick to make them either a hero or a villan. I personally would have had no problem had he missed in a similar manner to cahill, who i'd like to point out has had nothing said against him at all (at least in my hearing). In all fairness to berba, some of the most energetic people on the planet would look lazy when stood alongside any one of the players you mentioned, let alone all of them. And as you say, mixing those different talents together in balence is what makes a great team. Just for future reference, if he ever becomes too : peace: lazy : peace: we'll take him off your hands :p

I also like Berbatov generally . His control his amazing, his ability to see and produce such tidy but game changing flicks / passes is priceless and he has goals in him. The thing that sometimes gets me with him is that he can appear to be lazy. His style of play as you said is completely different from that of someone like rooney, so when what he tries doesn't come off he just looks like he can't be arsed with the game. Missing the penalty tonight; (i think it was you flinky who said earlier) if the ball had gone in, everyone would have been talking about how brilliant it was, but instead it didn't come off and he looked like a lazy tit My questioning on this though is, (and this is directed at everyone not just berbatov) why is it necessary to try and do these nonchelont penalties??? the players that usually try them are world class stikers who definately have the ability to beat the keeper from 12 yards, so why not just bury the strike emphatically into the top corner??? Those types of penalties (especially in a shootout) can only be arrogance... no?

I was wondering why it would be depressing?? Surely once people have completed the singleplayer story, the majority of their time will be spent enjoying the multiplayer. Don't get me wrong, if i enjoy the game i'll definately go back to the story and do the missions in different ways, especially if they have unlockable cheats similar to those in goldeneye. But after release i don't think i will need to be heralded as the new nostradamus for having guessed that the majority of my time with the conduit will be spent shooting at people online

I would agree that he is no gooner. Slagging of players from other teams can be fairly easy, but to do it to one of your own is something else.... yeah, you might have the occasional bitch, but you justify your reasons and know that you love them really Zuiverloon has almost caused me to cry in frustation this season, but he's still loved Also: how do you swap teams

Berbatov is just too cocky / lazy. He comes up with some nice little touches and hes good for goals (usually), but i would be more than slightly pissed (if i was a united fan) at some shite attemp at a nonchelont penalty when he clearly has the ability to beat the keeper for that range. I'm not all that fussed, but it would have been great to see a team take all trophies going; It would have been such a feat. I really hope Liverpool take the league now, as the 5 trophies is no longer possible for utd and i would love to see Liverpool (mainly Gerrard ) get their hands on the premier league. :EDIT: Actually thinking about it i am slightly fussed.... Berbatov, you sir are a penis !

I'd like to see a decent singleplayer as well. Obviously in the end the meat of the game will be the online multiplayer modes, but i can't really remember having that much fun with an fps' singleplayer since goldeneye. I'd love to be able to have that fun with the conduit. Its probably annoying to keep seeing goldeneye being brought up again and again, buts thats just testament to what an achievement it really was.

Good luck to them [/through gritted teeth] I got so much stick last night, it just wasn't funny after a while. wankers. Back to the Albion... Same old story for us again. Can't complain though, such is football. Was an entertaining game. City's support was laughable the only times you could really hear them was when they booed hughes' decisions. Apart from the result, good game. Happy with our boys, showed our character and i've gotta love them for it... Boing fucking Boing :EDIT:

Lol. I quite enjoyed that last interview. This is definately gonna be a day one purchase. Just to make sure i'm not being a numpty: Wii speak allows you to hear the six closest people on the multiplayer map as opposed to the six nearest people geographically in real life...right? I don't have wii speak, but i might get it if alot of people from here use it.

I can't wait to play some n-europe conduit online. I've been playing one of the call of dutys earlier tonight, but it just seemed slightly soulless. I'm really looking forward to some more decent fps action; i lost days at a time playing them in my younger years, such fun memories of goldeneye e.t.c I really like the sound of peoples ideas for how wii speak will be used. a few possibilities, but each one sounds good. I'm pretty sure HVS won't disapoint. Nice
