Source Basically, The European version of Windows Vista will not include Windows Media Player or Live Messenger, and will allow 3rd Parties access to the core of the operating system (Like Symantec and McAffee). WMP and WLM are, of course, available free online.

I wonder if anyone in Europe has actually bought Windows XP "Home N" or "Pro N"? (N = No Windows Media Player. Same price as normal XP)

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Cube replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I'm guessing so. Also, does D-Pad up do the same thing as C-Up in OOT? (Call your companion). Hopefully it will have the enemy info, not so much how to beat them, just general info...something Wind Waker almost* missed out. *You could find information on enemies by using the tingle tuner, and hovering over them -
This thread makes me upset...

Stupid C key! edit: Fixed.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Cube replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Ah, Its just that your sentence made it sound like you were saying that people were calling the whole game a "lightgun game". Yea, I agree with you with the Bow. Well, if you exclude one fifth of Majora's Mask, or the Ice Dungeon in OOT, not much snow at all. -
Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)

Why on Earth would someone think that Zelda is a lightgun game? Could you, by any chance, be looking for the Red Steel thread? -
Yea, It seems to be aimed at those people. Coincidently, those people are least likely to be able to afford one.

Isn't the official one gold?

Does anyone remember this: People said the packaging looked ace. Well, It's not the official Wiimote packaging. That there is a TV remote for the lucky Club Nintendo in Japan. Same size and made out the same stuff (externally) as the Wiimote, it feels how the real thing does. (so those lucky people can pretend to play Wiii games properly). So, the natural thing for people to do when they get one is make comparison shots. (was that one placed like that purposely?) IGN Article

Zelda and Red Steel ones definitely are not official. Anyway...aren't the official cases white?
-
Yea, "official" names for items vary: Computers - Floppy disk - Hard disk - Compact disc - MiniDisc Maths/Science - Disk (mathematical term for the inside of a circle) - Accretion disc - Protoplanetary disk So, really, the spelling is quite messed up.

GAME are getting rid of their 10-day returns policy

Ah.....the one and only slightly decent course at Bangor (or any Welsh uni, bar Cardiff, which is the only good uni in Wales)...remember: It's cheap for a reason. For any other subject, I'll recommend somewhere in England or Scotland. Still, if you like the place, then It doesn't matter. Only way to do that would be to avoid university altogether.

None of the games that won awards deserved them, so I'll pass.

BD-Rs and BD-REs (Why did they change "RW" to "RE". RE stands for Rewritable, but did Sony fail to notice that "Recordable" starts with "Re"?) have been on sale for quite a while. Still on the subject of the name, the official name is "Blu-Ray Disc", meaning people speaking proper English have to spell Disk wrong all the time. Also, surely BR-RW would be a much, much better name. Also, compared to DVD's they are very expensive, for retailers anyway. 1 DVD - 10p ish 1 Blu-Ray - £15 ish Is Blu-Ray really 150 times better than DVD? Oh, and CD/DVD cases are around 1p each for retailers, so including one of those won't make much difference.

Looks much better with Mario/Bowser in proper colour (not washed-out). Love the text and background too. 9.5/10 -

That's the Giant's Knife - The Biggoron Sword is the version that doesn't break. -
I'm hoping for Zelda, Red Steel, ExiteTruck and Wii Play for launch.
-
But, like the Wii, it is unlikely that any developers will take advantage of it. Is the standard for bluetooth connactions 7 then?

Enough here?
