Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Cube replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Darn Nintendo! All they need is a few lines of code. why, Nintendo, why?? -
With what your situation sounds like, your lenses will be quite thin anyway, and nowhere near thick.

I got my (new) pair around 2 months ago. Went to specsavers, and (as I'm a student) got it for free. Next day I picked up (one again because I'm a student) free £35 glasses (who the hell needs "Designer" ones that look the same?). Didn't get anything "extra" because it would of cost some money.

The thing is, Rare will probably have to re-make half of the engine, plus they will need permission from the publishers (Nintendo) of the game to do it.

I'm loving Pit's hotpants.

I believe it's like this: Correct me if I'm wrong.

The best thing to say is: The situation is a bloody mess.

Nintendo own all of the games made by Rare that were published by Nintendo themselves. Nintendo also own the DK license, and Rare/Microsoft own the license their self-made Characters. So, this means that all Rare games using Nintendo characters will be fine. DK64 tho...it uses some Rare-made characters, but presuming they come under the "DK" license, it should be fine. Remember, Nintendo sold Rare completely so they still could own all Donkey Kong related stuff (Microsoft wanted Rare to make GameCube and Xbox games originally....Nintend weren't keen on Donkey Kong on a Microsoft console) GoldenEye...well, I don't think Rare actually owns anything to do with the game. Nintendo own the game code, and Activision (and partly EA still) own the bond license. Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini and Banjo-Kazooie are problems, tho. However...Microsoft don't really have anything to lose by letting Nintendo put them on the VC. Only things they will do is generate profit for Microsoft and gain hype for future games. edit: Because of this, Rare could never put, say, Banjo-Kazooie as an "unlockable" game in the next Banjo game, or port it in any way without creating the whole game from scratch again.

Somewhere between £24 and £60, depends on what games they are.

I'm starting to feel that the media is now looking for any reasons (however stupid) to have a go at Rockstar. 1. Hidden content in game that requires user to a) Purchase a cheat device and b) go on some dodgy internet site to get the code (probably with porn adverts). 2. A game called bully: about stopping bullies. Media "we must stop this game, where you terrorise the school as a bully". 3. 2 Boys kiss. This is perfectly fine in The Sims, but in a Rockstar game....It should not be in there. Still....the "new" name in Europe can't be doing the game much good, what with all this media on a game called "Bully".

K, I'll just boot up my XP install when I need to use it (same with my TV Card, Nintendo WiFi USB Connector, and a few programs that I don't want to reinstall - some are already installed in XP). Actually, until the driver situation is fixed, I think I'll stick to XP.

Which, at the moment, are either HCSD Cards (High Capacity Secure Digital) or non-industry standard, and may not work with the Wii. Wait for some american to find out before buying above 2GB (same with the "High Speed" ones) -
Could he find out what the 2 "secret" games in Wii Play are? And the same with "training" modes in Wii Sports, if possible.

This is really annoying me now. I have a 6-in-1 Card Reader on my Acer Aspire 3023WLMi, but Vista won't detect it. I've tried google for drivers, but no luck. Does anyone know of a possible solution?

I believe that there is no purpose in life. It's just something that happened, like the existence of hydrogen (god bless that element).
