I just got this game today (45 minutes in), and I'm finding it really boring. I'm thinking I should have got black instead.... Meh, I dunno, maybe its just the mood that I'm in thats preventing me from enjoying ICO. Hopefully it'll prove more enjoyable tommorrow morning.....

I've seen reviews for this game and it looks really good. But I don't think I willl be picking this up, GT4 suits me fine. Instead I got ICO today!!

It was indeed a great game..I only wish that they had done a sequel, doesn't look likely now though.

Just saw the score they gave it in IGN.....8.7! not bad at all. I have made up my mind now, will be getting this after ICO. Looks awesome!

oh mate, just accept that there are no triple A titles comin out for the cube other than Zelda. Even though I'm a ninty fan, I've always recognized that they tend not to have the most hectic release dates. Come on, Chibo Robo a triple A title? Yeh right Triple A titles are more like Resi Evil 4, Metroid Prime, or Smash Brothers on the GC. I don't think Chibo robo belongs in the same class as them. Linking back to the main topic, PS2 has many triple A titles with recent releases such as ICO and Shadow of the Colossus adding to the long list that other forum members have posted already.

I actually don't know how old it is exactly. But its OLD. Thats all I know. I know you can check the serial number or whatever but my PS2 is at my mates house at the mo......I think it was in the 3000's area...I THINK..

Shit, I've got an older PS2!!! Oh well, looks like I'll have to cope with some slowdown then.

The only option I have is getting the PS2 version Hopefully the frame rate aint THAT bad....

Most reviews are giving the game an eight out of ten, EDGE, Games TM, Eurogamer...etc. Will definately be getting this and ICO very soon. Can't wait.

Bloody hell you've got alot of time on your hands.... Anyway there are loads of PS2 games worth getting. MGS, ICO, shadow of the colossus, black, PRO EVO 5, Burnout, Devil may cry, Psychonauts etc. I've probably forgotten loads, as these are only games I can think of at the top of my head. Just look at IGN or something similar to get a better guide of what games are available. But there are a BUCKET load of wicked games that you must play on the PS2.

Yeh, I reckon I'll be getting this. And I totally disagree with what others of you are saying about this game. It never looked like a poor FPS, to me it always looked amazing. When I first saw the screenshots they were impressive and when I saw a couple of videos of it, I was convinced that I'll be getting it. I just read the review by Edge and it was given an eight out of ten, they thought it was pretty good. But I agree with the poor life span this game has. If what you're saying is true, then 4 hours is just dismal, even for FPS's. But as Haver said, I think Black will be the kind of game where you just go back to it whenever you feel like blowing shit up and blasting baddies away. I don't think a game like Black needs a 15 hour+ life span but 4 hours is just a little short.

When is Nintendo gonna hurry the fuck up an get this game released? Its the only game I'm looking forward to on the GC, if it wasn't for this, I would have sold my GC a long time ago. I just really want it.......please???

Personally, I'm not surprised by this news. Hardly anyone buys these UMD films and I'm shocked at how many shops actually stock them. Whats the point of the public buying these films when they can purchase a proper full blown DVD with special features and extras for almost the same price?? The only thing they are paying money for is the novelty to see them on the PSP. And most people (hopefully) are not dumb enough to realise that they can just put a film on the memory stick just as easily as purchasing a UMD.

Damn it, I still need to get this game. I just don't have enough cash at the mo. Thank God its my birthday on monday, gonna go on a shopping spree and get this and Katamari. BTW, those black enemies I faced in the demo of the game are bloody scary. Are they present throughout the whole of the game??

How come you've managed to play the first few levels of the full game when it aint out??? I only play the demo cos its the only way I know of sampling the delights of this game. Anywhoo, u guys should check out the video preview of this over on Gametrailers.com

I will definatley be getting this. looks class and from what i've played of it from a short demo, it looks and plays awesome too.

I'll definatley be getting ICO but I think i'm gonna wait for shadow of the colossus. I played a demo for it, and i didn't really get on with it, whereas the demo with ICO was absolutely superb!

Hey people, I need your help. I don't know too much about setting up a wireless network at home for my family so that's why i'm turning to YOU to help me out. Basically the situation is this: I have one PC (desktop with broadband) in my house, shared by all the family. Pretty crappy I know, thus why we are either getting a laptop or another desktop so that we can all do our work, instead of waiting for brother/sister to finish. SO, cos my dad has an unused desktop in his office, we might be bringing that in to the house, so I am thinkin how the hell do i connect that up with my broadband? All I know is that we need a wireless router and I think, a USB dongle of some kind???? Please can you help me out, and let me know what kind of options are available. Also, if that doesn't work out, then we might consider a laptop. Laptops are easier to connect wirelessly aren' they? Give me the power of knowledge people.

Can any of you tell me if its any good or not? It looks alrite and has got good reviews from customers at Amazon. Thanks in advance. EDIT: I have now bought this router but I still can't get my wireless network set up!! Please help out as I have a USB modem and this router needs an ethernet connection. Thing is, my modem does not have an ethernet port so I can't set it up. So I guess I need a modem with USB and ethernet port. Can you reccomend me any solutions to this problem??
