http://www.infendo.com/2006/02/hidden-message-in-nwc-video.html#comments Are Nintendo going Subliminal on us. I think the word in the trailer is revolution. Would this mean Nintendo have decided to call 'the' console Revolution. Its most probably doesn't mean that at all. But when news is as scarce as it is we tend to speculate. I think Nintendo are just using things like this as fuel for speculation to add extra-emphasis on E3. When we are finally let out of the dark

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Demuwan replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
His hand is massive :awesome: -
For this one an online scoreboard is needed. I know us smash players get competitive so I think an international ranking system should be implemented so we can see who the best of the best are. Also I think international tournaments should be implemented. because of the demand a select few will be eligible by passing an entry 'test'. Where you will have to defeat 7 of those melee people with a secret level 10. Then you can enter the tournament. (those with the fastest times get in) It would have to be scheduled. Maybe to a weekend or something and would take about 2 hrs of your time. If you dropped out you wouldn't automatically lose but a cpu would take over for you. The winner would get a special trophy that he could show off in the online tropy collection thing! where you could view other peoples trophy collections. The online potential for this game is immense.

Is that supposed to be some kind of joke.

This game is going to be sweet goes without saying and because of that it needs a Thread where people can wait in anticipation. Discussing which characters whould make the cut and which shouldn't? How are nintendo gonna implement their controller? What will the multiplayer modes be like? What stages should make the cut? Should Nintendo have destructable environments? What items should make the cut? How can be played over WIFI? Custimisation? How may trophies will there be? and much much more. Since the last game was so huge we should expect something monumental. I think it would be really cool to add more custimisation to this game. Such as different costumes like (play as cel shaded link or realistic link or play as Old model of samus or New model of samus?) Personally the characters I most want are 1 Charizard 2 Ridley 3 Wario I hope Nintendo include some cel shaded stages from Wind waker and maybe a Twillight stage)

Nintendo News | Microsoft Manager Knocks Revolution Online
Demuwan replied to Nintendo Fan's topic in Nintendo Gaming
The biggest bell-end ever. Nintendo games not gonna hold up and to think I used to like Microsoft. That one interview has done a LOT more damage to Microsoft than good. All my respect for them has vanished. Give it a week and he'll be apologising cus he's realised what a fucking Moron he has been. Just like that fool from Epic. Dumbass piece of crap -
New patent - Voice-to-text chat conversion for remote video game play
Demuwan replied to djamb3's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I've been researching this patent for the whole day. Its an interesting idea that maybe able to tackle some of the problems of the Xbox live headset. Swear words may also be cencored but there is always a way around that. This is still has much potential, because personally I think it would be easier for text to be shown than to listen to some idoits. -
Ahh I believe this is because you can only have 7 controllers at 1 time. That is why the PS3 supports 7 controller ports because that is the max output. Its silly having an uneven amount though.

Amen to that

Isn't Copy and paste nice. On News.com staff writer Marguerite Reardon has written an analysis piece that explores the possibility of internet giant Cisco Systems, Inc. buying Nintendo. Here´s what she writes: Already Cisco has announced plans to spend $6.9 billion on cable set-top maker Scientific-Atlanta. When the deal closes in the next couple of months, it will be the third significant acquisition Silicon Valley-based Cisco has made in the consumer realm. The question now is, who's next? (...) Another possible acquisition candidate for Cisco is Nintendo, the No. 3 game console maker in the U.S. A stretch? Not really. Microsoft, which is emerging as a key competitor to Cisco in the home entertainment market, is already in this market with the Xbox 360. Gaming has already proved to be a strong application for broadband, so it makes sense that Cisco would want to own a game device to help drive more traffic on its network. With its popular GameBoy product, Nintendo would also provide Cisco an entree into the mobile-handheld market. Other potential candidates include TiVo, Sling Media and Ruckus Wireless. If Cisco really do have their eye on Nintendo, they are unlikely to make a move soon. Murray Arenson, a senior analyst at Ferris Baker Watts, is quoted in the same article: "Cisco will go slowly in digesting Scientific-Atlanta. There are still a lot of hanging question marks to answer before they go out and acquire anything else in this market." Also, a Nintendo takeover would be no easy feat. I cannot find any reliable info on the total value of the company. Estimates on various forums range from thirty to forty billion US dollars. Either way, they seem to be well prepared. In June 2003, Nintendo repurchased almost 8 million of their own shares. Late last year, they bought another 2 million. Such moves are commonly seen as protecting themselves against possible takeovers. When Bill Gates expressed his continued interest in buying Nintendo in the summer of 2004, Games Industry reaffirmed that the majority of shares are held by former president Hiroshi Yamauchi. They also called Nintendo ´the most profitable business in the games industry´. Nintedno would have created the Revolution with Mario 128 in mind. This is the way Nintendo have always made their consoles with the launch title in mind. Mario 64 N64, Luigi Mansion Gamecube etc. I think the whole point of Mario 128 is to expand the genre again so it is not really something easy to predict. Like say for example trying to predict what mario 64 would be like in 1994. Nintendo want to revolutionise the genre and with the controller they have it is an exciting prospect.

The speculation thread. [tribute to BigTac]
Demuwan replied to Nintendork's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Stabby your pissin me off now. Stop asking Big Tac to prove himself. You either believe him or you don't. simple. He won't have to prove himself soon when it all gets confirmed. He's basically reportin what he has heard and I credit him for it. He is very credible and has proved himself many times.(not that I think he had to) Without Big Tac these forums would be very dry so once take MY word for it and just believe. Its not like Nintendo are spilling the beans. Seriously whats the worse that could happen. -
Clover Studio: "we are really interested in the Nintendo Revolution"
Demuwan replied to Twilight's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Big Tac has proved himself on several occasions that is why people believe him. Personally I think he shouldn't have to prove himself more than once some people need a bit of faith. I mean whats the worse that can happen? -
Clover Studio: "we are really interested in the Nintendo Revolution"
Demuwan replied to Twilight's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That is why I love you Big Tac -
BTW I totally disagreeded with the notion that the revolution is getting bad press and so I went on urban dictionary to see what people said about PS3, XBOX 360 AND REVOLUTION As can be seen the Revolution seems to be getting better hype than the Gamecube ever got and is really spicing up next gen. PS3 http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ps3 REVO http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=nintendo+revolution XBOX 360 http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=xbox+360 HOWEVER just by looking at the name of the source we can see that some writers might be a little biased
