  1. I have one, as I haven't got a wireless router at home. And it works perfectly fine for me. I only have to reset the connector sometimes but the Wii connects perfectly afterwards. Edit: I have heard that some people that were having problems with their router, got it working great after they changed the channel to 11. Maybe you could try that first.
  2. Yeah, but maybe they'll won't add Snake until much later as he's probably an unlockable character.
  3. Yes, but Volt Tackle came from Pulseman originally. It's stated in the Wikipedia page on Pulseman at references to Pulseman. That game was made by GameFreak as well. The move was called Volteccer in the original game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulseman
  4. On the IGN forum Matt said he had already preordered 37 copies for friends and family as well. Don't know if it's true, though I don't see the point of lying about that.
  5. Yes it seems that Mario can easily be hit in his back while doing his Final Smash. So he'd have to make sure he hits everyone with it, and that can be difficult.
  6. I'm looking forward to this game as well. I love adventure games and this one looks to be a good one. I hope it doesn't take too long for a release in Europe though.
  7. I actually expected this to be the update today. Suprised to see I guessed correctly. Anyway, it's a small update that was already known for a while. I still like the new screenshots though. Has anybody ever heard of the sound effect SKRAAAAH! before? Sakurai keeps making these things stranger and stranger .
  8. Yes, Zero Suit Samus hasn't appeared in any of the pictures until now. Maybe there's a character update coming tomorrow? Anyway I liked today's update. And the way crates change each level is just a tiny detail that enhances the experience for me, great idea on their part! It will be fun to ride a crate into someone .
  9. I'm expecting early 2008 for Europe.
  10. Ridley has been scaled up and down in the Metroid games as well. In Metroid for the NES he was just a tiny bit taller than Samus. They could make him the right size if they wanted him in, just like Bowser and Kirby who was originally only 8 inches tall.
  11. I'm hoping for Ridley to be a playable character, and this update makes his chances go up. But Sakurai could just be teasing us. I like the music a lot though.
  12. It says up to four players on the site, so I don't see that happening. Especially online because of the lag.
  13. I'm going to use the GameCube controller for this then, I have 3 of them now. Maybe I'll add a Wiimote + Nunchuck as 4th controller if possible. As only the GameCube controller and Classic controller have pressure sensitive shoulder buttons maybe this also means, there will only be one type of shielding. Just like in the original.
  14. I'm pretty good at doing that with Ganondorf. His Aerial Down A killed a lot of my opponents, sending them straight down. I just have to take care not to jump to far off the platform.
  15. Would be funny if this was tomorrow's update : made by MechaKoopa5000.
  16. Well someone made a comparison on GameFaqs and it seemed about the same. The thread's here: http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=928518&topic=35876500
  17. I live in the Netherlands and I got my email about one/two weeks ago. Wonder why some countries get the mail earlier.
  18. It was the ending song in Yoshi's Story. It'll probably be used as stage music in Brawl.
  19. I liked today's update. The song was great, and I have to say the updates are getting better and better.
  20. I wonder how Pichu (if he's in) will shoot the Super Scope while running.
  21. They'll eventually do one update on the Smash balls. Maybe there is still more to them than you'd think... or not.
  22. *eats cookie* It would be fun if there was an event like the legendary pokemon event in Melee, where only smash balls appear. (And often too) Even better if there was an option to do this in a normal fight. It'll be utter chaos.
  23. Well most probably it'll be like the bunny hood and the metal block. You can only get one of those at a time as well. So if you pick up a second Smash ball, you'll still only have one, except you will have prevented other players from getting one as well. You would still be at an advantage then.
  24. If you were playing 99 stock, one ball per match would be a bit pointless. I think they drop more than that, but they'll just be very rare.
  25. Well for a lot of screenshots they're using Fox as a punching bag. I think that trend will continue for a while (poor Fox)
