  1. XBL has been a pain all weekend. My xbox has been hit and miss wether it connected and the lounge box was stuck on the '' Your password / email are incorrect '' screen but sometimes it would connect with the incorrect password / email and sometimes it wouldn't.

Least with the 360 you can still play games offline. Would you be able to with the nextbox?

  2. Used my points to get all walking dead eps :) 800 points for 5 (with Ep 1 free!) bargain!

Does it say when an ep ends?

You won't be dissapointed., i got them all the last time they had a simillar deal. Yes it doe's tell you when an episode ends.

  3. Would any be too bothered if Sony made you pay £10 to enable BRay features (BRay licence)? Could be a way they can make the initial purchase slightly cheaper for those not bothered about it.

I feel it would complicate things especially for £10 on a £400 console. There will be all kinds of console and game bundles around when it's released anyway where you could save a little if you shop around. I'd rather they leave it as a bluray player without having it as an add on.

  4. I myself have a Wii gathering dust, a ps3 which i use mainly for blurays and ps3 exclusives ie:- Heavy Rain, Uncharted's and i'm looking forward to the last of us. I'm not keen on the Killzones or Infamous. My 360 is the one i use mostly for their exclusives and multi platform games. I also prefer the 360 controller to the ps3's.

Next gen i'm afraid that even if only 10% of the rumours are true regarding the nextbox i won't be buying it. Not even at a later date with a price cut. I don't like the idea of always on kinect spying in my home, checking that the person in my home playing a game i bought is actually the person who bought / registered the game. No 2nd hand games or even if you have to buy a pass to play them i'm not interested. ( need more clarification from sony regarding this too ) Xbox live gold. Yes i pay at the moment. Would i jump ship next gen if ps4 is free, damn right i would. WiiU mmm!! wierd, so far it's only ZombiiU which i piqued my interest but that's about it, May pick a WiiU up in a couple of years when it's cheaper and when it's got a better library of games.

All in all it's early days yet but the PS4 is defenitely on my radar if the price is right and if they don't go down the same greedy, intruding road as microsoft.

  5. Maybe you can buy an app for 1200 msp to enable you to type the infinity symbol on your windows 8 device / computer?

That's 1200 msp per device / gamertag and a micro transaction of 40msp every time you use the app after your kinect has verified that it is you using the app otherwise an app pass is required.

  6. Took a gamble pre-ordering this game with all the rumours etc but i'm glad i did. Loving it so far, the gameplay, pacing, weapon crafting and the single player campaign. I can see myself replaying this quite a bit too when i complete it. The co-op looks good too and is completely seperate from the single player campaign though anything you pick up in co-op carries over to your single player campaign.

Micro transactions are a bug bear of mine ( though you could say i participated in the micro transactions by buying the limited edition which included 2 suits and 2 weapons ) but you really don't need to participate in these micro transactions at all. You also get extra suits and weapons if you already have DS2 or ME3 saves.

All in all a great game that i think a lot of people may have passed up. There doesn't seem to be anybody on here with the game as i had to clear the tumbleweed before i could post.

  7. It's not just second hand games it's also lending your games out to friends to try before buying or going round to your mates with a game. I know you can download your Gamertag to another xbox but........!!!!!!!

If true it's not for me especially if you are also reliant on an internet connection to use the thing!

  8. So, apparently, the Resident Evil franchise "may" get a reboot depending on Revelations feedback; http://www.vg247.com/2013/01/31/resident-evil-may-undergo-a-reboot-once-revelations-feedback-is-received-says-producer/

It's not as if this series has had many "reboots"... Seriously though, I do think it needs a new direction. Most importantly, it needs to go back to it's survival horror routes, but have enough action to appeal to the brainless masses. Something along the lines of the original Dead Space could work (as in the mechanics/survival aspects of it.)

Totally agree. The original Dead Space was the only game to give me that old Resi feeling.

  9. 3'rd Lego game i buy right here!

Have Star Wars the complete saga and Lego Batman 2.

On a side note somebody told me there was a Marvel game on the way, ala:- Skylanders and the new Disney infinity where you would collect the superhero figures to make them playable in the game but i've not seen anything online about it.

Hope Lego games don't go this way as currently in the games ( least the ones i own ) they have a huge roster of characters that you unlock the old fashioned way ie:- you unlock them as rewards in the game and not by spending more money after buying the game.

  10. I do prefer hard copies for all the reasons the OP Animal posted but i also love the convenience of digital copies ie:- shed loads of movies on a usb i can just plug into my TV or my entire music collection on an mp3 player etc.

What i don't like are streaming services or anything that relies on an internet connection in order to access them ie :- films, music and games. Especially for example extras on games that you pay for but if your internet is down you can't play them. I can understand streaming can be very useful to a lot of people having access to things wherever you are (internet permitting) but hell you can carry massive film, music and game library's around in your pocket on ever shrinking devices. I think the whole '' you must connect to the internet to access your paid for downloads in order to use them '' philosophy is a fear of piracy by the corporations.

  11. Downloaded the demo this morning and played a small part of it. There's defenitely more ammo lying around and from the short bit i played it defenitely feels different to the first 2 games. I think i will enjoy it and if so won't cancel my pre-order but i'm gonna miss dead space!

  12. Shame!! I used to use Play.com a lot. Their monday madness deals on memory cards, games and Bluray's etc were brilliant but like a lot on here have said it's not been the same for a while. Since around April 2012 actually!! Another online retailer Amazon does not have to worry about anymore. Sorry for the people who have lost their jobs 400 plus 147 from Play, that's about half of Jerseys population. And to the 67 job losses over here.

  13. You won't regret it. The script and voice acting is superb and I really had to hold myself back from crying during the end credits. Beautiful games.

I do think people are making too much of the 'your decisions don't have massive repercussions' argument. The whole point of the game is that whilst the end result is pretty much the same for everyone (especially emotionally), the entire journey there is dependent on the decisions you make. My experience for example will only apply to me and there will be others who made choices and immediately regretted/were happy with their choices. I won't play through the game again because I got what I wanted from it first time through, making decisions in the heat of the moment (and often regretting them lol).

Top game. GOTY for me alongside Journey and Virtues Last Reward.

Totally agree. Although i asked for more impact with the decisions in an earlier post i thoroughly enjoyed the game and the story.

I haven't downloaded many games from XBLA but i'm glad i purchased this and look forward to the second series.

  14. I recently bought this in the xbox live sale. Thoroughly enjoyed it, made a nice change.

Just wondering when the next game is out and hopefully in the next series they can implement seperate gameplay paths at multiple points in the game so the choices you do make through the series really do have an impact how the game pans out throughout the series. Who lives, who dies? what towns you end up in, the friends and enemies you make and the ending. Imagine the replay value rither just for fun or for the achievment whores out there.
