In some ways but not others, at least the ps3 is region free.

Unfortunately, although the most innovative in many ways, Nintendo are still sticking to a lot of the old formulas which sony and microsoft have abandoned. Making pal users suffer is sadly one of them.

It depends on wether the driver files are generic though, and also wether ethernet support is even built into the console yet, they may be launching it as an update when the official adaptor is released, if they want to be proper bastards about it that is.

Does anybody know if a standard pc usb>ethernet adaptor will work with this thing ? I really don't fancy the idea of waiting for the official one, and Mario64 must be downloaded.

The funniest thing about the ps3 is how sony have marketed the lack of controller rumble as a feature.

I know what happened with amazon uk last year was that when you place an order on their site it apparently goes to one of three depots. The 360 orders were all dealt with from one depot, so anybody who had their order sent to one of the other two didn't get a look in, regardless of when their order was placed.

All I know is for a console that produces supposedly last generation graphics, the demo pod was pulling one hell of a crowd in Game this afternoon. They also had one in HMV but that was switched off when I went in.

The Europeans/Americans still would have gone for Zelda I think, we love that sort of thing, for Japan it's all about the innovation so I can see why they would be willing to pay full whack for wii sports.
