Thanks to Triforce, I can't stop listening to Jennifer Lopez's new song Louboutins. It's terrible, but it won't remove itself from my head. "..I'm just a PART TIME LOVAAAR".
  2. Post Your Purchases

Oh. Boo. :p Found them deep in the sale rack at Top-Man a few weeks back, and then completely forgot I'd bought them.
  3. How was your day?

15 texts without one reply? My god, that's insane. I can't fathom what's going through his head everytime he picks up his phone to text without there having been a reply. Slightly awkward? See, awkwardness isn't always a bad thing. At least from my experience anyway. :p -- Finally managed to get some work done, which is amazing by my standards. Treated myself by making a lovely dinner and curling up infront of the X-Factor. If only Mariah Carey hadn't insisted on screaming at me for 3 minutes.

I actually love the new Boots advert though. Makes me giggle everytime. I'll be quiet now.
  5. X Factor 2009

Joe will win easily. It's glaringly obvious considering how he manages to raise the bar each week. Stacy will be second, and I'm thinking Olly third. Lloyd will be gone next week. I'm going to savor every moment we have left. :p

High School Musical 3 - Finally Mean Girls The Notebook Hills Have Eyes 2 - Worst purchase ever. Desperate Housewives Season 1 & 2 Drag Me To Hell A couple of jumpers and a frankly amazing pair of Spongebob themed Pac-man boxers. May just be my favourite purchase ever.
  7. How was your day?

Lovely relaxing day today. Any day filled with Green & Blacks Ice-cream, X-Factor, Bridget Jones and inappropriate singing outbursts is fine by me. Actually looking forward to next week too. Eee, I'm so excited for Christmas too. I don't care if it's till considered to early. I love the whole staying in, snuggling up watching a movie thing.
  8. How was your day?

Had a lovely night in with Emily. We spent he night eating badly and drinking Hock (Best fucking thing ever) whilst watching 3D horror films on channel 4 and Bridget Jones. It was lovely to read a bunch of texts when I got back to my room too, especially one of them. So cute. Sleep is needed. Tomorrow will be filled with baking and work. Manly baking I might add.

I'm completely addicted to Paramore's Decode and then to a lesser extent, Ignorance. I adore her voice during the chorus of Decode.
  10. How was your day?

Went to meet some friends at about half nine, and then about 15 of us got the tram to Cineworld. They'd booked me a ticket for the new Twilight, so I figured why not. The atmosphere in the cinema was hilarious. Girls screaming at the lights going down, a mass sigh as whatshisface appeared on screen. I couldn't contain my laughter. One girl was even wearing a mask with his face on. It was a....sight to see. Finished about 2:15am, and then we had to wait in the cold for over an hour for a Taxi to finally appear. So happy I have fridays free.
  11. Rate the last film you saw

New Moon I didn't like the first at all. The acting was terrible, the plot dragged and the ending bored me. I have to admit, I enjoyed this in places. It started horrendously slowly, but as it got closer to the ending it managed to almost claw it's way out of the pits of abysmal-ness. I can't describe why, but for about 20 minutes it actually became...enjoyable. One thing though. I WANT MORE DAKOTA FANNING. She could see she didn't even need to bother acting, to be better actors than the 'stars'. Then they went and fucked it up with the Eastenders style ending. I half expected the music to kick in as it cut to black. Start: 4 Final third: 6.5

I've finally warmed to Paramore's Ignorance. Now I'm hoping to check out the rest of the album as soon as possible. Any have any opinions on the new one compared to Riot?
  13. How was your day?

Woke up at 11, and headed on for my only Seminar of the day. Got back after a nice walk home with a friend on my course and ended up falling asleep watching Desperate Housewives on the sofa. Didn't get any sleep last night (Ash's twisted thoughts are so to blame :P. Oh, and you did the text thing even though I was waiting for one. I hate you. :p) I'm thinking making myself a stir fry before falling asleep in-front of the television sounds like a lovely idea.

Just got back from seeing Lily Allen. I love her. She seems amazingly cute in person too. Fuck You, Oh My God, Naive, Who'd Have Known, Knock Em Out, The Fear, Not Fair, 22 are all brilliant...or at least the first few that pop into my mind.
  15. User Image Gallery

I don't mean normally. I mean when you're posing for a picture, and you don't look at the lens. I do it all the damn time without realising. But yes, pictures where everyones caught off guard are usually the best.

I just realised how annoying it is when someone doesn't look at a camera. Now I understand why you moan at me so much. I must stop. Those (mostly terrifying) pictures from Friday are being put up as we speak. Can't wait to shove a few in here. Even though the majority are either from during Bad Romance...or Chan's boobs. :p
  17. Desperate Housewives - Entire First Season Bought the boxset and it only took me a couple of days to get through it. Absolutely fantastic, though it's strange to see the show focus less on the humor and more on the drama considering how the show is now. Some brilliant moments. The 5 seconds where we finally get to see Bree breakdown was heartbreaking, and I loved the moment Susan found Andrew in the pool with the other guy. It's nice to remember her having the right balance of ditzy, unlike now where she's just verging on annoying. 9
  18. How was your day?

Just got back after a few hours in the library which were spent finishing off my presentation on the NHS/US Health Care System. Obviously huge amounts of fun was had. Uber hyped for seeing Lily Allen tonight with Razz though. Actually cannot wait. Though, I loved the reaction of the guy from my course who I was walking home with when I said I was seeing her. "Omg. She's abysmal. That's the kind of music you like? You'd have to be totally gay or something". "Erm, I am indeed". "...........Oh". Tard.
  19. X Factor 2009

Actually...I'd say anyone voting for John and Edward are. Plus, I don't vote. (Well, I tell I lie. I did vote for Lloyd one week after numerous bottles of wine).
  20. X Factor 2009

Haha, exactly. I'm not a fan of anyone this year, so I've just clung to Lloyd. I literally squealed when he got through...which in retrospect is rather embarrassing.

My Internet fails, so I've just managed to load the HQ Alejandro after about half an hour. Has to be one of her best songs, absolutely love it to bits. I'm loving Monster too, especially the final half. Screw it, it may just be my favourite.
  22. The Music Thread.

Amazing. Loving this more than Bad Romance. Though, when it that came on last night in the club I could have died. Freaking brilliant. Same with Britney's 3.
  23. How was your day?

Terrifyingly excited for the next 7 nights! Going home tomorrow and spending the day/night with Chan. Then spending monday night with my mum seeing as it's her birthday. On tuesday morning I'm heading down to Cambridge to stay with Han for a couple of nights. Then friday, I'm heading back to have a mini winebar reunion with some friends before heading back to Sheffield on saturday with Channy for a night out with her, Ness and Razz. Eeeeeeee!
  24. The Music Thread.

GaGa - Dance In The Dark "Inject me baby, I'm a free bitch!" And then there's a 30 second preview of the Bad Romance video: The Fame: Monster will now not be a re-release. It's now a standalone album...no idea if that means they'll be more tracks added. But I'm thinking 8 is easily enough.
