eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
Excellent film! I like my westerns mostly, and Tomb Stone is an excellent example of a Spagetti Western.
Christine is also a great film, but there really are too many to list. You can't go wrong with any of the early Bond movies, or the Indiana Jones/Back to the Future box sets.
I can see this thread is going to have about a million films in before it dies, good luck watching them all!

How about an All Stars MMO? It would have all the Ninty characters in it and Bowser would be the big boss! You could be Mario or Zelda or Ash or anyone you liked! Or maybe you could be yourself and they are all in the game, each one resident in their own themed area? Would be sweet!
-
This would be awesome! There was one due for xbox that got canned (I cant remember the name - Johelian will) but they should buy that and do it for the Revo!!!!!
-
Just been to argos and they were back upto £80 in my store, so I traded my purple one in and got one from game instead, nice new pearly white cube for me :p

I don't think you should worry at all. It is her problem not yours. Of course if I was the boyfriend I would probably take a different view on the situation! But I'm not, so .... good.

Howdy. You are now part of a group which likes to speculate endlessly about Nintendos next move and when Miyamotos next golden shower will be.
You can't say things like that, blasphemy!

I used to work in GAME before I went on my student placement, and I intend to go back there when I go back to uni. For those of you that are new here, there is a GAME bashing thread about once every 6 months. I used to work in the same store as Johelian, and it was great, we were always polite and knew our stuff, but you tend to get different people with different interests.
For example, I was particularly interested in FPS games and Jo was into RPG's, so depending on the questions asked, different people would answer.
All this crap about GAME going downhill and all the staff are crap is out of order tbh. I agree that as a company their priorities have changed, when I started three and a half years ago it was all about the customer and it is now about the margin, and yes I'll agree, that is clearly showing. But don't blame all the staff, there are many awesome emplyees and they are just doing as they are told.
And to the person who has the problem with the prices - Go back and check, I think you'll find that they have changed their stickers and they no longer say 'lowest price guarantee'. Also just to mention, if you bothered to ask for the T+C's that policy applied to other stores in town, not internet stores or out of town stores, so they are more than allowed to say lowest price if they want to.

I'm one of the people trying to get a 360 Premium pack before xmas(and I haven't pre ordered) I could get core but nah i'd rather wait and get premium. I should be able to find a premium before xmas if I look hard.
Go into game (or get someone to go for you if you cant) every friday at about 10am. By then they have had their delivery notes for the day and will be able to tell you if they are getting any in. Deliveries are paid to be in store each day before 12 (maybe 1 - can't remember) if they are getting them, you can hang around.
As far as I am aware, they are not taking pre-orders for the stock they are getting in before Christmas, it is first come first served, however, it is at the managers discression. So if you head in with a wadge of cash and say 'hey look - money £_£' he/she might take your name and phone number and call you when they get them.
How is this for harsh - A friend of mine went to the local Virtual Games and was told that they were getting premium packs for launch but it was first come first served. So on day of release he went there at 6am and waited 3 hours for them to open, when they did, he was told that the manager had decided to sell them all on ebay...wankers!
-
Why are Japanese magazines so much better than ours?! I haven't tried the first one yet, maybe I'll pick it up after Christmas and see what I think.
-
Well lets see how many people are up for it, then maybe have a thread especially for it?! It doesn't say if there is a minimum amount to bid so I guess not, although there isnt an email address just a phone number. Lets see what everyone thinks!
-
Hey, I just has an idea! Lets get one, as a forum! Everyone could chip in a quid or something with paypal and then we could make a bid on one that is not likely to sell. We would all be part of:
"Revolution-Europe: The forum that owns the Publishing rights to ....(insert crap game name here)"
-
Am I correct in thinking that if you wanted to, you could gain the publishing rights to one of these titles, then turn around and say "I give everyone permission to pirate this game"?
-
Yeah, I'm sure someone I was speaking to in GAME (when I got my Core pack), said he had 30 PSP's for selling at Christmas!!
Someone definately has too much money!
-
Well seeing from ASDAs stocklist, theyre getting the same amount in each week before xmas, about 600 a week, to split between 60 stores nationwide.
So this is probably the same situation for all shops, getting the same amount of 360's in.
Its funny you should say that, I was trying to work out last night how many xbox's would be in the country by christmas, and I'm sure it is totally wrong but this is my thought process:
Say there are 1000 shops that get 360's each week. Each store gets roughly 10 machines and there are 4 weeks before Christmas (considering that this doesn't include the initial pre-order allocation) that means:
10,000 x 10 = 100,000
100,000 x 4 = 400,000
Surely 400,000 xbox's would be enough to meet demand for Christmas?
-
I guess if you can afford to do it, why not! I wish I had though about getting some Nintendogs packs in, you could definately make a bomb on those on ebay!
-
Thats fair enough, I see what your saying, I mean as far as I knew, most major chains will get supplies every friday between now and christmas, and I dont know how reliable that information is but if I was looking to buy one I reakon I could get one before christmas without paying through the teeth on ebay!
-
GAME sent me an emaili yesterday, they have premiums back in and are shipping them, pity i already have a premium, and no money left in bank to get another :'(
Whats the point, if the shops are getting them in, people arent going to spend hundreds more buying a second hand one off ebay!
-
they can only sue you if you hurt them...
Is that true though? I'm not really up on recent affairs, but wasn't it ruled that you are allowed to protect yourself using appropriate force should the situation require it?
-
TONIGHT THEY TRYED AGAIN!!!
this time they tryed the front door!!!
Lucky they failed! But now i even do not dare to leave the house!! afraied they come again!!
What the hell sort of area do you live in?! They have come back again?!
-

Thats because they had too much to carry already!

This game made me cry it was so good.
I couldn't agree more, by far my favourite game on xbox, I will forever hate EA for bringing this series to an end!
Is Windows Vista...

Yeah. I think there was also rumor of a statment in the EULA that said to activate the Ultimate edition you also have to suck off Bill Gates.
