If it's true, then it's going to be extremely expensive. (and rubbish, heheh)... Buy an Xbox 360!

I like your style, and that sounds exactly like the way of the world.

Err... cos I quit my job... if I didn't I would have just got fired anyway, because I kept being late and lazy so often (I can't help it). My parents are not rich in any way, and I never ask them for money. I have to sort my benefits out so I can actually fucking survive. I'm waiting for a friend to pay me for a PC that I gave him so I can actually pay my electricity bill and rent for this month, because otherwise I will step over the limit of my overdraft.

As far as I know, no TFTs support above 75hz, and also, most, if not all, TFT-LCD panels run best at 60hz. You want DVI input, it's just better. It means the signal is sent to the monitor, pixel for pixel, and there's no confusion about where the image should be placed on the screen, or what colour those pixels should be. Here's a simple as fuck diagram: With DVI: PC Graphics Card > Monitor Digital signal-------------- With analogue: PC Graphics Card > Monitor Digital - Analogue-- Digital Basically it has to convert it more times if you use analogue, resulting in (sometimes minor, sometimes visible) degredation.

Hell fuck all conformists, I just had 3 potato waffles, toasted, two I then spread with marmite and consumed, the last I spread with strawberry jam and consumed. The marmite ones tasted better than the jam ones but oh well. No, I don't have any bread, so I just use what I have to save money.

So true.. I haven't had a job since the middle of July and it's becoming difficult to survive...

Damn you all. I have Burnout, Burnout 2 and Burnout 3, but not enough money right now to spend on Burnout 4. Damn you.

Explorer is the application in windows that brings up your desktop, start menu, and any "my computer" like windows. If you have a lot of windows open in teh background before you start your game, this is clearly what is consuming your RAM. However you're talking about Battlefield 2. Battlefield 2 is special and has memory leaks and all sorts of shit everywhere. It consumes RAM like NO OTHER GAME, so much to the point that I'm getting another 512MB soon. If it only happens in Battlefield 2, make sure you have the latest patch (although they introduced the memory leak IN a patch...) and maybe lower some of your graphical settings in the game.

Marmite is nice, if strong, stuff. I can eat it combined with spread, or hell, combined with peanut butter, live life on the edge, I don't give a shit.

I VERY much doubt they can detect a TV card.

Predates the birth of the sun. It is cool though.

If it's got the same features as the Gizmondo AND more, it's so much more technically advanced than any other handheld. Gizmondo already had way more unique features. It also looks sufficiently awesome. I bet nobody who slags it off has done any research into it at all.

Well, I was going to leave it till a bit later, but well, if you need it that soon...

Although surely it's much easier to hide it...

site that sells ridiculously high end computers
RoadKill replied to dabookerman's topic in General Chit Chat
The main thing you can break is the cpu pins.. fragile, and also sometimes prone to bending, for example when replacing the heatsink, sometimes the CPU comes out with it. This is one issue that can still catch out people who are good with computers. -
... Or shoot them in the face and use their bodies as fuel for boiling water to turn turbines so they can generate electricity and be of use for once in their lives.
