I'm playing Tales of Eternia on the PSone atm and it's utterly brilliant, anyone with a PSP needs to pick up that one. It has the Tales trademark likable characters, lovely graphics and some really addictive minigames. Breath of Fire 3 was incredible also, wish I had a PSP now... At a stretch I would probably buy Eternia first. It's even better than Symphonia imo and it's also got some great voice-acting (bar the battles where they sound bored)

I have the first game but I would kill for the sequel - I can't find it anywhere! I played it at my mates house once and multiplayer is fantastic, I like the larger focus on weaponry.

We didn't get Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI - most of the good stuff really.

I thought San Andreas was the best GTA yet IMO, they're getting better and better I think. I just hope they don't set the next GTA in bloody America again - I think somewhere like Russia would be an awesome place for the next GTA, it would be pretty damn slick.

Um they have actually according to Kikiso.com. http://games.kikizo.com/news/200508/141_p1.asp It may not be true but I do remember an interview with Suzuki saying the series was finished but he was just looking for the right time to bring them all to one console but with Shenmue 2 flopping so bad on the Xbox it probably set him back just a little (pretty stupid idea bringing it to an American orientated console IMO) Can't remember where I found that interview though unfortunately. And those screenshots I put up earlier may have originally been intended for Shenmue 2 but I reckon you would have certainly seen those places in Shenmue 3.

What I don't understand is if the sequels are finished why don't they release them already!? There's obviously big demand and if it was released on current gen the graphics would hold up pretty well I think. I reckon Shenmue 2 still looks fantastic so I reckon they should get it over and done with before it's too late y'know.

I've been online on the PS2, it's much better than most here say and it's free. I'm not particually bothered what Sony decides to do regarding online next gen tbh. I'm playing Monster Hunter online atm. If anyone heres' PS2 is hooked up online you should check that one out.

I wonder what the chances are of Tales of Legendia making it over here - it's looking very, very good and the Gamespot preview was really positive. Looking forward to that one!

Xbox Shenmue II is in English (...Shenmue 1's cast returned) but you've got to be mad to accept Robot Ryos' laughable excuse for voice-acing. I thought most of the voice-acting was crap in Shenmue but some characters in particular did a good job like Nozomi and Iwata Hazuki etc. but the insignificant characters were shite IMO.

If it doesn't even turn on then it's probably beyond repair, Sony aren't exactly well known for robust game consoles. One bang an it's pretty much lights out for the PS2.
