bandwidths to go with fine latency
killthenet replied to wiiwiiallthewayhome's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Ermmmm. Ok. I would prefer the 24mb to be embedded into the controller so I can throw some memory back and forth. -
Racism was accepted on television as recently as the early 80's. It was only then that tv execs realised it might actually be offended some people and political correctness was born. I heard someone say "shit" on Newsround a few years ago, it was hilarious when they apologised the next day. Someone got the sack for that.

She looks like a deformed penguin... I'd still totally make out with her though.

photies of where you live (if you're on 56k tough luck!)

holy shit, you guys live in some awesome places. norway and belgium look especially nice. I've seen one normal house so far. You're all super rich. -
Surely with all our technology knowledge we could band together to create some kind of superwhore that'll do us sexual favours and perhaps even grant us some magical wishes.
-
That's nothing though, I remember about a year ago Channel Four seemed to be getting really relaxed over bad language before the watershed. They had a lot of swearing on some lunchtime programming. Richard And Judy were dry humping on the 12' O Clock news.

Two-week's until college starts for me. And even then i'm only in three and a half days a week, and I get Friday's off. Wii release day will be one sweet affair.

Japanese press event on the 14th of september
killthenet replied to marcel's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Has anybody noticed that the Japanese and American press events just so happen to fall exactly 1-year after the unveiling of the controller? We should've expected it all along! They're going back in time! -

What exclusive title will be in the September 1st issue of ONM?
killthenet replied to Wiinii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
We already know what game it's going to be. It's "Shigeru Miyamoto Presents: Banjo All Night!" you rotten plebs! -
It's fake. Someone's just cut and paste the-way-to-play/people-reacting thing from a Wii Sports promo shot and shoved it in the screen above the proper TV screen. And the stand (apart from the bottom) is clearly fake. It's all out of focus and weird.

Hands up everyone who fell in love with a foreign girl who went to your sixth form (but was already taken back in her home country) but when she went back there the following summer for a holiday, she broke up with the foreign fiend before returning to the UK only to start going out with one of your friends on results day. Then after having dropped out of sixth form and been lazy for 9 months you start hanging out with her again, only to find out she'd dumped the other guy months ago but now she's going out with a tory cretin and she's leaving in 2 months anyway... Just me? I thought there were more of you!

I'm hoping it's mid-late November or early December, because then I would be able to buy a Wii and a lovely new widescreen tv. Job pending of course. In other news Nintendo are rumoured to be showing off that new fangled handheld device (the one that Iwata can't stop wittering on about) at one of these press dealys.

Nah, I've been a fan of the Angry Inch for a few years now. Have you got "Wig In A Box" the covers album? If not you should check it out, The Breeders version of "Wicked Little Town" being my personal favourite.
-
"Hedwig And The Angry Inch". Was a good one though, awesome film. Ook, how about "I was a toxic yuppie on the fast-track."
-
It also had the orignal of "Sunglasses At Night" which is badass.

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=600039697939624452&q=Lie+Fest+2004 A short film what' I co-wrote and acted in a couple of years ago. It's pretty funny in parts but the editing is shite.

Yeah, I'm sure it extends further than just the yobs and old people of Britain, it's just that my own personal experience of gay bashing is from older relatives or uneducated friends. Obviously it happens elsewhere in the world, there's a lot of it going on in Africa due to the fact that a large amount of the worlds practicing Catholics and Christians are based there.
-
Yeah, your typical British yob will accept lesbians entirely because they think it's cute and sexy, but they'd happily knock a bloke out for even suggesting that they'd experimented at all. 50 Cent for example is renowned for hating gay men but liking lesbianism. It's all a bunch of hypocrisy really.

Even with my extensive Nintendo knowledge, neither Game nor Gamestation could see past my long hair to giving me a job. And I've got £140 owed to my brother as well. Ain't no way I'm getting a Wii at launch. Spare change anyone?

I am single and have been for almost 3 years now. I must get a girlfriend soon, I must! Otherwise my sex organs will shrivel up and die and i'll live a nightmarish life of hell!! Seriously though, the whole relationship thing is a big hassle to get started and having a girlfriend automatically makes you a prick. My mate Nat had never had a girlfriend before about 3 months ago, ever since then he and his girlfriend have been trying to set me up with another girl - presumably because they want someone to double date with. I don't understand why couples get so high and mighty around single people or why some feel they have to tiptoe around you, as if mentioning their relationship will cause you to start flooding tears.

I've gotta say I prefered Geri. And Steps were always the better band.

I'm surprised they chose such a non-descript Mel C song to cover. Surely it would've been better to cover that one with Bryan Adams. My Bloody Valentine's cover of "Map Ref 41N 93W" is probably the finest cover version I've heard. Other notable covers are The Raincoat's version of "Lola"; Fischerspooner's cover of "The 15th"; Kaito's cover of "The Marshalls Are Dead" and Final Fantasy's version of "This Modern Love". I can't think of anymore at the moment, but i'm certain there's some others... I'll get it eventually.

The Super Mario Bros Movie (settle an argument)
killthenet replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Chit Chat
I don't really remember it. I remember that I saw in at the cinema and I remember the Goomba pinball game that KFC had in their kids meals. I can remember being annoyed that the Goomba's didn't look anything like Goomba's and being shit scared by Dennis Hopper's Bowser. Oh, and I remember the pretty convincing realistic version of Yoshi, though it probably looks like a puppet now. I really can't trust my 6 year old brain. Apart from my 6-year old brains love of Biker Mice, Tots TV and Nintendo. I was right about all those. -
Thundercats? Biker Mice? Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles?! These corporate fatcats are destroying my childhood. I just hope they don't re-make Tot's TV where they're future robots... from the future!
