  1. Hahahaha.

I know it may sound sad, but I was really laughing at some of those bits. I'm such a child.

It would be awesome to see them again. Maybe a whole tribe of them or something, to rival the gorons. :heh:

All that Yeto stuff was funny I just can't believe the house he lived in was so dangeous! :p

That idea about them forming a tribe is genius! I hope they do it, maybe as some sort of hidden village!

  2. That first trailer that was posted really creeps me out.....not because of the film it self but because my friend has recently started getting an obssession with the number 22 and so i see it as almost a parody on his life :heh:

How obssessed can you be with a number?

  3. I've just completed it... this game is amazing, better than Wind Waker.

Ganondorf looks sooo bad-ass, especially on his horse. He better look like that in the next Smash Bros.

I agree, he looks really nasty and melicious! (sp?)

I liked Navi cos she seemed to have an inferiority complex!

Does anyone else miss the magic from OOT like Din's Fire, I think thats what it was called?! I loved the cutscene and everything!:hehe:

  4. If you hunt around you could get a Premium Pack with a couple of games and an extra wireless pad for £300. Get a VGA cable, its da bomb. Anda wireless Adaptor will set you back around £55 at best.

What are VGA cables? I have an HDTV if that helps?

  5. The Wind Waker didn't feel rushed in the end because of lame bosses, but because of a lack of dungeons. They could have easely added five more dungeons and hid the Triforce pieces in there. No, instead, some morron spread the pieces over a flooded hyrule and made maps to find them. Even worse, the game didn't really require you to find Triforce Pieces, it required you to find heaps of money just to pay the map-reader 'Kooloh Limpah!' Tingle. That was a quirky ending. I would have liked it if you could stroll over Hyrule field on the bottom of the ocean and if they had impelemented two or three dungeons down there to find two or three pieces of Triforce. Not that that actually makes more sense, but it wouldn't have felt so rushed.

Thats why I couldn't be bothered to finish WW...

  6. Fine if that's what you think.

I'd still like to see one more traditional Zelda game on the Wii.

    - good graphics and music

    - a good storyline.

    - ACTUALLY big as opposed to promises of it being huge and 70+ hours

    - Huge array of weapons

    - With a special twist to make it different to all other games yet still a celebration of Zelda.

You can't rally say that till you see what they do with the new one! I mean how radical a cgange do you think it will get? Actually I see it now 'Zelda & Link: Smooth Moves' Seriously change is good! Zelda TP is essentially a Gamecube game, as we all know, and represents the end of an era harking all the way back to the beginnings of the N64. It made complete sense that Nintendo wanted to have it as a release for the Wii and I think thats where the confusion is. As a Gamecube game it is irresistable, as a Wii game it is archaic but still good! In the end I am all sure we have faith in Nintendo to do whats best for the series...and we don't really have a choice so quit your yapin!:p

P.S. They should give Majora's Mask a complete graphical face-lift and re-release it....seriously. On a more serious note, does anyone know if Majora's Mask is coming out on the VC any time soon? Any plans?

  7. Uhhh...were they any different in Ocarina? They didn't do anything then either.

I know but as great as OOT was, and still is, its over a decade old! Progress people, progress.

They all lived underwater. But anyway why are you complaining about the settlements? Does it actually matter? No!

Yea, I think it doe matter cos whats the point of trying to save Hyrule if everone there has nothing to live for!?

  8. Yes that is the same with every Zelda game, no doubt about that. The problem with TP isn't that you have to collect what you have to collect (I'd edit your post for spoilers), the problem is... the story loses any sense of urgency, any sense of drama after dungeon 4.

The bad guys don't surface till the very end, there's nothing seemingly WRONG with Hyrule and everyone acts like it's a glorious summer day. No danger, no threat of inpending doom (like OoT/MM). And the end battle seems hastilly put together.

I agree completely! (Except with the end battle bit, I see where you are coming from, but I really enjoyed it!)

I've been complaining about Kakariko Village, and rightly so, but Zoras Domain is absolutly pitiful! WTF, they live in a pond quite literally! I mean what do they do all day, at least the Gorons go to the hot springs and Sumo wrestle and dance and eat rock or whatever...the Zoras just seem to be speaking fish! What happened to the Zora rock group from Majora's Mask, honestly the more I think about it the less remarkable this game gets, and that saddens me.

  9. Exactly. Think how much worse it would have been without that extra year.

I'm wondering if it would even have qualified as a game without the extra year! (I'm kinda half serious aswell!)

the last year or so was probably just testing for bugs and getting it ready for Wii as most of the staff moved on to Phantom Hourglass or the new Wii Zelda.

I dunno something doesn't add up, especially when you look at the pictures of the game on IGN from ages ago!
