There was a small update that changed the ways stats are interpreted by the game engine a while back. Dont let this thread get sidetracked I think their was a small update I am only posting that because I am the admin and will need to hand over power like George Bush not because I am attention seeking and want love lol. See Oddy is trying to paint me as evil but you will all be crying when he wins season after season like he did back in the day. You know sometimes I hate the guessing game regarding formations. Elites guessed my formation so Im punished and get 1 chance. I wish they made that part of the game less effective. In a bad mood with xpert atm.

You don't understand I could have had class. I could have been a contender. I could have been somebody. Instead of playing 4-3-3 and being a bum which is what I am. Haden United 1-2 Eights United Eights United sprung a shock on the league as they picked up their first win, away to Haden United. Haden United went for a risky 4-3-3 formation while Eights United played their usual 4-4-2. Right from the offset Eights controlled the midfield and were making more chances than Untied at a rate of 2 to 1. However shortly after a goaless first half Weesle broke away from the Eights defense and put Haden ahead. The game now became more fluid and Eights hit back with their own breakaway Fjellbekk slotted Svanson through who took it past the goalie to make it 1-1. Chances were now coming thick and fast but it was the imperious Fjellbekk who made the difference when he headed a bullet like header into the bottom left hand corner of Hadens net. Haden looked better in attack and defense but the midfield battle was crucial and Eights won it. Haden only got 3 stars for his failed strategy while Eights got a 4 star rating for their creative play. Haden United: I guess formation and am at home, my midfield is only 1 bar lower than his. Yet he has 8 chances I have 4. Ok... Eights United: Just give me the champion's trophy already. Essex Elites 3-1 Dysonian Wanderers Elites kept their title defense in good health as they saw off Wanderers at home. The Elites played a solid 4-4-2 against an aggressive 3-4-3 Wanderers formation. After a dull first half the Elites struck first, Comer hit in a pass that Cotino thumped in. However Stenholm created Wanderers only chance to make it 1-1, hitting the ball in the box for Segar to sidefoot home. Wanderers were finding it very hard to make chances and seemed to be wanting to hold out for a draw, however 2 minutes before the end Comer got past his man and hit the ball in off the post. On the 90 minute mark Comer was up to his tricks again when he curled a cross in for Basti to head in. The Elites were solid all over while Wanderers impressive attack failed to get the service it needed. The Elites are on a roll while Wanderers need to sort their form out. The Elites gained a solid 4 stars against 3 for Wanders. Essex Elites: A solid team performance conceding only one chance against an offensive team pleases the manager. We shall be working on our possession management as the statistics are not pleasing. Dysonian Wanderers: The team just did not turn up today. We've got some serious work to do to turn this season around. Credit to our forwards who worked hard despite the limited servce they received. Battlestar Odwinica 5-0 Edd Kirby Athletic Odwinica demolished the abandoned Athletic 5-0 at home. Odwinica played a broad 4-4-2 against Kirbys 4-3-3. Odwinica got 8 chances against 0 for Athletic and Bevers, Coles and Bello scored the goals with Bello getting a hat trick. The win propels Odwinica up the league while helping their Goal Difference greatly. Odwinica got a 3 star rating against a 1 star for Athletic. Odwinica: Athletic: Roostophe Rovers 0-1 Mcoys Sons The Sons scored a crucial win separating them from Rovers in the title race. In a pattern that has emerged in this report Rovers 4-3-3 failed against Sons defensive 5-4-1. After a couple of injuries including a nasty one for Sons youth midfielder Seaman it was the Sons who took the game by the scruff of the neck. They made 5 chances against 0 from Rovers. However it wasn't till the 91st minute that the Sons made a crucial break through. Alvarado who was on for the injured Seaman looped the ball in for Downer to head in his first ever goal for the Sons. What a crucial header it may prove to be! The away fans went ecstatic while Rovers fans flooded out the stadium in disappointment. Both managers earned 4 stars but you would have to says Sons won the tactical battle. Roostophe Rovers: Yep, here we go. I'm going to be shite at home this season. "Calling Battlestar Odwinica, calling Battlestar Odwinica, your three points are ready." Mcoys Sons:Mcoy couldn't have asked for a better result against a top form side away. Mcoy has been hit by injuries but most of these have only been light. Madpool 2-0 Intergalatigo Sons New World Order teammates collided as Madpool resurrected their season with a win against struggling Inter. Madpool played 3-5-2 while Inter went with 4-3-3, it has to be said it was an awful day for every team that played 3 strikers and lost the midfield battle! Madpools midfield took control early and Hiles threaded a great ball for Gay to latch onto and score his first of the season. Bad news came for Madpool as Yamanishi was badly injured and had to be helped off by medical staff. Trainer after an immense season last season is quickly becoming a fan favorite. He showed why when a minute before half time he skipped past two challenges and looped a ball over the goalies head to give Madpool a 2 goal advantage. Inter made some chances in the 2nd half but sadly for them in the 1st half one of their attackers was injured and subbed for a defender. The other two forwards played reasonably but in the end Madpool deserved to hold their own. A good win for Madpool who earned a 4 star rating as did Inter. Madpool: Thanks! Nice! I tend to find players valued under 500k dont sell or sell for nothing. But those at the 1.5-3 range can really rocket past their price.

Cause we have all been beating him 10-0 when hes been away but hes actually a good manager so would be a tough break for those who faced him when he came back.

Starting the Fight Madpool 1-2 Essex Elites Madpool slumped to defeat against a tactically sound Elites side. Both teams played a midfield heavy 3-5-2 and had similar amounts of chances and possession. However the Elites struck first very quick as Cotino then Basti hit in close range shots to make it 2-0 after 16 minutes. In the 2nd half Madpool looked to get back into it as Trainer set up Hadley for a lovely chip in the corner of the goal. However a mere 2 minutes later Madpool striker Gay was injured and subbed for a youth. It seemed to take the energy out of a Madpool attack and the score finished 2-1 to the Elites. Elites deserved the win but Madpool will wonder what would have happened if Gay stayed on. Both managers got a well earned 4 stars. Madpool: Probably a fair result, was poor up front yet again, and an injury to my best forward is unlucky. Well played though. Elites: Well played Madpool! A tough game to watch live, you definitely looked odds on to get a draw in the end but the Champions proved their worth by winning a valuable away game against their bogey opponents! Dysonian Wanderers 1-3 Battlestar Odwinica Two seasons starting in different ways as Odwinica shines the Wanderers fall. Wanderers played an aggressive 4-3-3 formation against a solid 4-4-2 Odwinica line up. Things started badly for Wanderers as their inspirational captain and defender Dunwell was subbed with a minor injury. Groves slotted in an easy shot to make it 1-0 to Odwinica soon after. Twigg headed the Wanderers back to level terms before the break, giving them hope. However as the match ended the Wanderers midfield began to fail and Odwinica made more and more chances. Bello and Howarth scored via a header and breakaway to give Odwinica the win. The loss of Dunwell and Odwinicas control of midfield made the difference in this game. Wanderers manager got a 3 star rating compared to 4 for Odwinica. Wanderers: Odwinica: Eights United 2-2 Intergalatigo Stars The two promoted sides took part in a dramatic draw that was fascinating for the neutral, Eights played 4-4-2 against a Inter 4-3-3 lineup. The first half was action packed for all the wrong reasons, only 1 chance but 4 Eights players got yellow cards, two got injured and the Inter captain was stretchered off. After the break things heated up, Granas scored via a breakaway set up by Svanson to put United ahead. Hogan curled in a lovely long shot to hit back for Inter before Svanson sidefooted a close range shot in to make it 2-1. A mere 7 minutes later in this ping pong second half Aurelius shot home a wonder of a free kick to the delight of the away fans. Both sides had little left after this exhilarating passage of play. Inter will be glad with this result and their manager earned a superb 5 star rating, Eights manager got an impressive 4 star rating. Eights:One day....one day! Inter:A good game for the fans, full of incidents! Mcoys Sons 6-0 Edd Kirby Athletic Sadly Athletic seem to have lost their manager as the Sons destroyed them 6-0 at home in this rout. The Sons played 3-5-2 against the 4-3-3 of Athletic. Gaye was on superb form, scoring a hat trick and setting up headers for Moses and Heckinbottom. The last goal was a own goal by Smith, in the end the Sons had 70% possession and 12 chances to 0. It was less a league game more an exhibition, the Sons manager got 5 stars Athletic got 2. Sons:Mcoy would like to say he did awesome but against a manager who is inactive and not changing tactics Mcoy was bound to come out with an easy win. Athletic: Haden United 0-0 Roostophe Rovers An important game between two of the current league leaders ended in a boring 0-0 draw. The occasion may have got the best of them as the teams canceled each other out, the 4-4-2 of United failed to create enough chances and the 3-4-3 of Rovers failed to be deadly enough. Indeed their were only 3 chances in the entire game. Rovers will probably take this result while United will be disappointed not to land a killer blow. Both managers got a 4 star rating. United: Good game man, sadly sometimes youth development means playing a very predictable formation. I thought you might not catch on, but you did! Rovers: 30 matches between the two of us now...I don't mind if it's a draw so long as Haden stays put at 15 wins. Most Important Result: Dysonian Wanderers 1-3 Battlestar Odwinica, great result for Odwinica sees them move up the table at the Wanderers expense. Stylish Play: Mcoys Sons, ok it was against an inactive team but it was a great display by the Sons. Only Xpert Knows! Essex Elites 2-0 Intergalatigo Stars The Elites and Inter lined up against each other both sporting a 4-4-2 outfit in what was a dull but heated encounter. O Conner hit in a skillful early goal to settle Elites nerves before Inter defender Sting clattered into Elites midfielder Sharpe sending him off with a horrific injury. Cotinos header finished off what was a rather mundane match, the Elites dominated with 63% possession but only made 3 chances. Inter tried to kill the game off but Elites superiority shone through. A couple of yellow cards and angry exchange between the managers after the match will make the rematch one to look out for. Elites racked up the first 5 star ranking of the season while Inter got a good 4. Essex Elites: This is a warning to you and you nWo compatriots, you stand no chance at the end of the season tournament! Inter: Argh, my team played long balls against my wishes!! Still, 0-2 away against the defending champs plus i had a goal disallowed...could have been worse! We'll see Ellio, we'll see! Madpool had more chances in the 2nd half but with 60% possession Odwinica were in control. Bello found the youth Sherawat with a sweetly timed ball in the box, Sherawat found the top right hand corner for his 6th goal in 40 starts. Odwinica closed the game out well, their defense looked unbreakable and Madpools tactics hadn't quite worked out. Still a good game and after two tough away games it will be interesting to see how Madpool responds. Odwinica could be title contenders if they keep this form up. Both managers earned a solid 4 star rating. Battlestar Odwinica: Madpool:Disappointing first 2 games, and at home to the champions next game in an important game. Win would be great. Edd Kirby Athletic 0-4 Haden United Haden United destroyed a woeful Athletic to carry on the pursuit of Rovers at the top of the table. Athletic went for a 4-3-3 formation against 3-5-2 from United. Cuicuffio before this season had never scored but he is in super form atm, he headed a goal in after 5 minutes making it 3 this season. Marconossi teed up Eveleens for a long shot to make it 2-0 to United early on. Avallone was a rock again and also proved useful in attack, he set Marconossi free with a great pass, Marconossi made no mistakes and made it 3-0. Durov fed Shimal a great cross that he volleyed in during the 2nd half. Untied were dominant with 64% possession and 7 chances to 0. The only bad thing was Sbaccanti was badly injured near the end of the match. For United a great 2nd game to boost a superb start to the season. Athletic seem to be lacking a manager at the moment! Athletic got a 2 star rating and despite the score United only got a 3 star rating. Haden United: Great victory for us, Marconossi and Durov looked deadly and Avallone was superb. Sbaccanti injury looks bad however which is rather annoying. Athletic: Dysonian Wanderers 1-1 Mcoys Sons A tactical battle ensued as the Sons held the Wanderers to a 1-1 draw. Wanderers played an aggressive 4-3-3 against a possession centric 4-5-1 set up from the Sons. The first half lacked much action but Jevons the Sons lone striker was clattered in a dodgy challenge that saw him stretchered from the pitch to the fury of the Sons manager. The 2nd half was more lively and the Sons drew first blood as Curtis hit in a ball that Moses latched onto to make it 1-0. However McLen popped up to head in the 21st goal of his career in the 71st minute. It finished 1-1 and was a just result, the Sons looked great in midfield but Wanderers more dynamic up front. The Sons should be happier with this result, both managers earned a good 4 star rating. Dysonian Wanderers: Mcoys Sons: Mcoy is pissed about his striker. Eights United 1-4 Roostophe Rovers United failed to stop Rovers immense form in a rather bizarre match. United played a 4-4-2 against an aggressive 3-4-3 Rovers set up. United oddly had a defender then when he was injured a striker in goal! Mortimer held court in midfield and set up Fowler for a header to give Rovers the lead after 4 minutes. Svanson netted his 3rd of the campaign with a snapshot to make it 1-1. Chances were plentiful and equal but Rovers looked the more likely, in the 59th minute Sheldon found the net with a curling free kick. On 75 minutes United had a penalty shout, Gresdahl stepped up to take it but a wonderful Bruijn tipped the shot over with an electric save. This inspired Rovers, Agbonlahor set up Sheldon to score via a breakaway then Agbonlahor scored himself with a header 5 minutes from time. An absorbing match that Rovers deserved to win, but Untied played their part. United only managed a 2 star rating while Rovers manager got 3 stars. Eights United: For a while that was pretty close considering I had one defender and a striker guarding the goal... Rovers: I've equalled last season's poor away form... Most Important Result – Edd Kirby Athletic 0-4 Haden United, United look dangerous as Athletic flop. Turned on Style – Roostophe Rovers, a supremely confident performance from the in form side of the moment. Player of the Day – Nicolo Avallone, Haden United, directed traffic from the back and provided an assist.
