Haden replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
My team are worth more than any "Elite League" team and are worth 40 mil than the next middle league team but I am put in the middle league. Hadens Legends will dominate the middle league and come to the "top" league as unbeaten champs. -

Best change report I have ever had truly outstanding, Somner doubled which I am really happy about only a few people didn't go up visibly I will still get whipped in the top league but have a stronger unit to play with now. I think I am going to avoid any big changes I might see if I get any amazing youths but thinking of leaving it this season and bringing in a couple of youths next season, might be good to stabilize and really push the current crop of guys. Tales what are you feeding some of your youths! Great progress in midfield for your team. I brought in Agent Gibbs and Dazzy -

Xpert 11 Season 30: The End of History, The Era of One Champion
Haden replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Whoa Zell you sure you want to be showing your ratings and current form before the cup final! Maybe you are playing mindgames :P Dan are you able to cover the semi finals? I was going to do a path to the championship feature for Yellow and Inter. If not dw we can retrospect them The Outer View This is a special version of the Inter View as the host Nikos steps out of the interview chair and becomes a guest on his own show. 1: After securing the double in Season 23-24 your team has been a feared member of the top league but have failed to mount a sustained title challenge since then. What do you put this down to? Yeah, I put this down to a combo of reasons. Firstly, during our Championship winning seasons I felt like we massively over-performed. Looking back, we should never have won the league given the strength of our squad and the quality of the opponents so huge credit must go to lads. I think luck was on our side and many teams underestimated us and we capitalised on that. As a result expectations have been high since but seeings my squad hit their peak around that time, it’s been a bit of a rebuilding process since the old guard left. Secondly, a lot has to be said for the quality of the opposition with the brute force of Eights and their dominance plus the shock rapid rise of Yellow Subs. Another reason for the possible decline (or inability to keep up with the best) since, was one major mistake I made in taking two of the now folded Seahawks team’s players (Kirk and Zorro). I thought they’d be great buys but they were more hassle than it was worth if truth be told, not only the furore it caused amongst other managers but the worst thing was that they both had poor compatibility and it threw the whole balance of the squad out which would have impacted on results. However, I feel we are almost back now to where we were now and title contention is surely not far off once again. 2: Apart from the Seahawk transfer duo you seem to favor youth over buying in talent. This used to be the norm but as your last interviewee dansliketrees pointed out some managers are now bringing in talent at a later age who are already quite skilled. Do you see yourself doing this or sticking to youth? I like danlikestrees philosophy and it is something I would definitely do if I had the money as it saves time waiting for them to develop but the trouble is we as a club have never really had that sort of money to be brandishing about, apart from the time I splashed out on the Seahawks players and Papadopoulos of course. Therefore, the next best thing is to bring through youth from an affordable age. The great thing about this is that when the time comes to sell him you’d then hopefully make a mint and this in turn will enable you to start buying more established players in their mid 20s and that’s something were striving for but we’re a way off that still so it’s all about the long game! 3: Odwin, Haden, Ell, Charlie. These four managers had league winning sides and decided to quit and reform a new team. Has this ever crossed your mind? Or do you think the competition is so balanced or the love of your team so great that there is no need to re-start. It would be good to do one day but I won’t consider doing that until my team has reached its full potential. By that I mean looking at the team sheet and thinking DAMN, as though I were looking at Eights squad now! My team is still building in strength with a lot of the youth I bought previously beginning to reach their peak so there’s still plenty to come and many more seasons ahead of us. In other words, whilst we are still underdogs, there is still work to do. Plus I know how much time it’d take to get back to where I am now and quite honestly with the increasing strength of the three leagues, that might never happen so if I were to quit my team it may very well be the day I also quit Xpert, but we’ll see. Hadens Havoc: I am going to say five things I want you to respond with a short answer of the first thing that pops into your head. Season 30 Champions: Intergalactico Stars! Entertaining Team: Russian Revolution Player of the Season: Severin Granås Best Formation: 3-5-2 Player who has disappointed you: Nikos Scabos Thank you for your time Nikos, and thank you from us all as a forum for your dedication to the Inter Views, they are always a good read. Any final thoughts? My pleasure and thanks for turning the tables. Our knock out game was intense for the most part and I’m sure Hadens Rangers are gonna kick on and win trophies one day…when I’m dead and buried, haha, kidding, keep up the good work! :P Since these questions were conducted I have now reached the Champions league final and I’d like to take this opportunity to wish my opponent Yellow Subs the best of luck, but not too much! May the best team win!!! Season 30's Champions League has been epic and I'd definately like to see it done again, maybe every 5 seasons or so! See you on the other side! Yellow Submarine vs Intergalactigo Stars Champions League Final: 11/04/2014 12:30 GMT The Rivalry: Looking at the face to face of the two teams you will note that Inter have the edge on YS with 5 wins to 3 and 1 draw. However this advantage pairs up with the only time either side has lost at home which was when these two teams had their first league match in Season 26 and YS lost 3-1 at home. Every other time they have played apart from a draw in a cup game the home side has won. YS most glorious victory came in their historic season 27 run where they destroyed Inter 6-1 with 17 chances to 2 playing some blistering attacking football with a 3-5-2 formation. For Inter their best victory came last season where they packed the midfield with a 4-5-1 formation and Gandalf inspired them to a 4-1 rout of YS. Both managers have established themselves as part of the Elite Four, with Inter having won the league in Season 23-24 and YS winning it in Season 27-28. What they have in common is both sides won as relative newcomers in unexpected circumstances. With Eights United win last season it was felt that Eights United might go on to establish themsleves as the sole dominant force in Xpert 11 but this will not be the case. This is now a fantastic opportunity for one of these sides to take lead in their rivalry and establish themselves as a three time Xpert 11 Champion and the current one and only Xpert Champions League Winner. The Teams Inter have a very strong side with a defence that is one of the best in the league as well as a midfield and attack that overflow with options. This tournament has seen Papadopoulos shine for Inter with 13 goals and 5 assists not far behind is Gandalf who is so threatening in a dead ball situation and has the highest number of assists with 7. With 13 X11 awards between them Owen Hart in goal and Rocky Miavia in defence are an awesome combination and Inter may well hope to keep a clean sheet and win by a single goal, these two could make that happen. With their strong set of players Inter enjoy playing 4-4-2 or dominating a team with 3-5-2, oddly they seem to have a weakness from wing plays but score in all manners and are likely to score at the start of each half. YS have intelligent players they are adept at creating and stopping chances almost having a second sense. The team trains well and works together to perform above expectations. Ataisik has been simply outstanding this season and has an incredible 12 assists to his name he has been the architect of YS attacking play. Between them Delipiano, Falcao, Lennon and Beasley have 37 goals in this tournament and it is an amazing statistic that every YS player has scored apart from the goalies. Kirkby and McEnroe have performed heroics this season in defence and with Villa missing the game through injury they will have to be at their best in this final. YS also enjoy playing 4-4-2 and 3-5-2 and are a very attacking high energy team with most of their goals coming in the first half and the majority from headers, they sometimes struggle to contain teams that use breakaways. Path to the final: YS had a very hard group and struggled in the middle phase of the group stage losing to Dragooooo and then drawing twice to RFC. It seemed top spot would not be theirs but they then won the next four games in a row scoring 4 times in each one and ended with a final victory against the 64s to win the group. This saw them up against Kippen FC who tried to stifle YS but Delipiano's talent was to much for them, a heroic late goal by Falcao saw them through against top league rivals Silverdale Salmon in a tense 2-1 victory, this was then followed by a tie with Eights United which saw Beasley score 4 and YS unbelievably beat one of their oldest foes 4-1. For Inter they were in a group of death themselves and they also had a wobble drawing twice and losing within the first give games, they then went on to string together a run of 100% victories culminating with a 3-0 win against title rivals AC Elites to win the group stage. This saw them have a favourable tie against Coloccini that proved tricky with Grey having to save the tie from going to extra time with two late goals. Next they went against they Legends which was a close game until Papadopoulos proved the difference maker with a crucial goal in the 69th minute. A nervy game against DuD saw Inter lacking possession but having the cutting edge as Meriduis headed home the only goal of the game. Good luck to both teams may the best team win and make Xpert history I will be watching the loaded version of the match live for full excitement -

Haden replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Lightbulb is a great feature and I think it is part of the reason YS have done so great not to take anything away from Zell who always plays great tactics to match his players. Final will be interesting I either see a YS 3-0 victory or Inter edging it by a goal, I would give Inter a slight edge but that is just me. -

The Final Eight Part 1 Winston Garden Lions 0-2 DuDs Baggies The Lions faced the Baggies in what was to be the battle to see which of the non Elite Four clubs would make it into the semi finals. Winston tried to dominate the midfield with a 4-5-1 formation while Baggies opted for a risk 4-3-3 line up. It was Baggies even with their more fluid formation that seemed to have a stable grasp of the game. They were awarded a freekick that Dhall whipped in for Ashe to poke home. In the 2nd half Winston started to get more into the game on the 71st minute there was chaos however as Winston seemed to have mixed up shirt numbers as forward Goodison was brought on for defender Haswell to the dismay of their manager who tried to get the decision overturned. Baggies took advantage of this bizarre moment as Nixon fed a ball in that Dhall smashed home. When lone striker Ingham was injured Winston had to bring on youth Benmouih as his best remaining striker substitute to jeers of “You don't know what you're doing” from Baggies fans. This weird display should not take anything away from Baggies who got their gameplan spot on today and deserve to make it to the semi finals and can maybe start dreaming of making Xpert history? AC Elites 1-3 Eights United This had the potential to be a changing of the guard as AC Elites seem primed to take it to the next level soon but Eights United stood in their way today and showed they are still the top side in xpert for the moment. The Elites tried to play counter attacking football setting up with a 5-3-2 formation but Eights went for a midfield centric 4-5-1. This led to a lot of possession for Eights but neither side could carve out a goal. In the 2nd half Elites defence got tired and mistakes were made as Beck lost his marker to hit a shot in off the post, Capwell was then brought down in the box and Granas rifled home a penalty. Granas then curled in a freekick to put the game beyond doubt and notch up his 18th goal of the cup, Granas is so far the player of this competition without a doubt and in current form looks unstoppable. The Elites did get a late goal back when Faketura headed home a corner but it was to little to late. This was a great performance by Eights United and with Granas not to mention Beck in this sort of irresistible form you have to think who can stop them? -

Round 1 Match Reports The Familia FC 1-1 Eights United (Eights United win 5-4 on pens) Out of all the games the crowd at this one had the most unique experience with the only penalty shootout occurring during this tie. The Familia lined up with a 5-3-2 formation against Eights United who stayed with their favoured 3-5-2. The Familia came steaming out the blocks as Kingston hit in a stunning long range shot to make it 1-0. However Capwell soon hit back with a curling shot of his own to level the scores. Not much happened in the 2nd half as both teams seemed to be unable to break each other down. Extra time came and went with Eights unable to break down a fantastic Familia defence. The dreaded shootout began and Familia goalie Jerimo scored first and the penalties kept going in until Kingston who had scored in open play skied his penalty to the dismay of his fans. Eights United players made no mistakes with Jerimo unable to make a save United went through, Familia players straight away went to support Kingston who had scored the goal that got them in the shootout but couldn't score in it. A close game that nearly produced a shocking result. Lylat Wanderers 0-1 Winston Garden Lions Wanderers and Lions met in a match with lots of chances that saw the Lions just edge this game. It started at quite a quiet pace as forward Ingham for the Lions was subbed with a mild injury and Coren after half time was also taken off to the dismay of the Lions manager. The pace quickened and the 3-5-2 of the Lions began to edge the 4-5-1 that Wanderers had chosen. The breakthrough looked to have come when subbed attacked Benmouih headed a goal home but it was disallowed for a push. On the 85th minute the defender Lilywhite stuck his leg out and was booked for a poor challenge. The captain Goodison stepped up to take the free kick after missing several others it looked like this game would go into injury time. However he pinged this one in leaving the goalie with no chance and sending the Lions into the last 8 and the top league of Xpert! A good game with Lions clearly deserving to win this one but Wanderers making them earn it. RFC 0-3 AC Elites In what many thought would be a marquee tie this ended up being a came that was won by a team with cool heads. The Elites lined up in a 4-4-2 formation against the 3-5-2 of RFC, this structured approach allowed them to put on immediate pressure as they earned a corner that the captain Bodin tapped in. The 1st half saw both teams go at each other but the Elites defence was outstanding and looked like it wouldn't concede in 180 minutes never mind 90. While it was 1-0 there was always a chance RFC could take this to extra time but a late penalty that was converted by the captain Bodin finished the game off. Freund added a cherry on top of this performance as Bodin held onto the ball before passing it to a sprinting Freund who curled a long shot into the top corner. Bodin and Freund were outstanding today but the Elites defence were the real winners. A more workmanlike affair than we expected. Leeds M.O.T 0-2 Silverdale Salmon This was always going to be a hard game for Leeds after their heroics in their group they ended up with a really hard draw against former champions Silverdale. They lined up playing 4-4-2 but Silverdale with 4-5-1 dominated the chances made 10-2 achieving a better link up between their players. However it was not all plain sailing Silverdales goalie was injured straight away and was subbed by a youth prospect as well as this four Silverdale players earned yellow cards making for some very nervy moments later in the game. However the difference was da Luz, Woodlands the Leeds captain tried to organise his defence to pick up the runs form midfield but with 5 Silverdale midfielders they lost da Luz twice and twice he pounced in the penalty box for the vital goals. This was a bridge to far for Leeds but they should be commended for getting this far, for Silverdale they march on to the next round. -

Eights vs Yellow 3-3 Goes to Penalties DuD vs Inter 0-0 Goes to Penalties I am speaking in jest but Inter DuD is like the battle of the best defences while Eights and Yellow has to be a high scoring affair even though their track record says not. -

Proud of my team today I think 3-0 was quite harsh on us it didn't quite click today oddly enough both Inter and I thought we were switching tactics and playing wing plays. Hopefully after a decent change report we can start to compete with the big teams next season. Will get reports out this weekend sorry for being behind. Dansliketrees shall I do your loss and Eights and you do my loss and Yellow? -

I won't get a chance to do mine till tomorrow or Thursday so I will leave it to you Only request could you do mine? I dislike reporting on my own matches. Such a shame Eights won that shootout that would have been hilarious as it goes no real shocks in the 1st round. It will be interesting to see if the Elite Four of Inter, Eights, Yellow and Silver get separated or not. I think I can have a go at any team but chances of going through are now very slim my tactics were perfect in almost every area today and I will need a similar result next time still at least Mulholland is back which increases my tactical options dramatically. Peeps are the spots ready for the new guys? -

Fantastic write up dansliketrees Do you want to split the match reports up? If you do let me know four you would like to do. I am nervous about my game on a bit of a bad run of form at the moment not sure how to play this game it really is two well matched teams on a neutral ground which makes it hard to plan for in a way. After watching my game I can't wait to watch all of the other 7 games shame xpert doesn't have a very basic graphic for when a highlight is shown. -

The Death of Kings: Xpert 11 Season 30 the Knockout Stages Lets talk of endings, of retirements, of final seasons Write sorrow in our PR's Let us post in this forum And tell sad stories of the death of managers How some have retired, some been knocked out, some dirty tricked, some inactivated by a team they deposed, some lacking youth, some with no form. All out of the last 16 Tactics cannot help you now No goalie couldn't keep me out I don't want your econs I don't want your title See I've come to knock you out Holy water cannot help you now See I've come to burn your kingdom down And no rivers and no lakes can put the fire out I'm gonna raise the stakes, I'm gonna smoke you out Seven devils all around me! Seven devils in my house! See they were there when I woke up this morning I'll be dead before the day is done Seven devils all around you Seven devils in your house See I was dead when I woke up this morning I'll be dead before the day is done Before the day is done Why is Zell remembered? He is remembered because he won Season 27. His young team against the all conquering Eights. The hope of Eights United being the first modem team to win three league titles in a row destroyed in two months. That victory made him famous. It made him immortal The Familia FC - Eights United The only tie that is a rematch from the leagues sees the Familia against Eights. This is a harsh tie for the Familia but a potentially tricky one for Eights who beat the Familia twice 3-1 and 2-1 but did not utterly dominate in the way many thought they would. The Familia are a team who excel in defence and offence but are sub standard in midfield. Gibbs and Jerimo are one of the best GK defender combos in xpert at the moment and the same could be said up front with Kingston and Auffret, however in midfield Eights will dominate them without question. Beck has been on fire for Eights but the form of Granas has been something else he has been the player of the tourney so far with 16 goals and 6 assists. Eights do not really have any weaknesses and will want to play a dominant game without doing anything reckless and they should win this one by a couple of goals, still keep an eye on this tie it will be interesting. Prediction: Eights 3-1 The Familia Russian Revolution - DuDs Baggies These two sides haven't met for a year which really paints the picture of the rise of DuDs and decline of RR. However RR have come back in recent seasons to be a force of their own. They beat out Madpool for the 4th spot and have a world class striker in Alderton and some key veterans who help their youthful squad in every position. However this will surely not be enough against DuD who have one of the most impressive defensive records in this tourney and have a rock solid squad from top to bottom. They have their top two midfielders potentially out for the next game with suspensions and injuries but DuD may welcome this as his young midfielders should be able to deputize and win this game regardless. Look for Shearer to shine here and add to his tally. Prediction: RR 0-3 DuDs Baggies Coloccini FC - Intergalactico Stars This may be mission impossible for Coloccini as they set out to defeat Inter in what looks to be a hopeless task. Inter after a shaky start are on a fantastic run of form with 7 wins on the go and taking the title of a very competitive group. What makes this so hard apart from anything else is the defense of Inter Rocky, Carlos, Benoit, Ramos the list goes on these are defenders who do not give chances away. Coloccini have a side who are doing well but are still being developed to get to that next level with Haslop being the only world class player in the team. However the team has a good manager and this is a great chance for them to play against a top tier team and learn something from the game. Prediction: Coloccini 0-3 Inter Kippen FC - Yellow Submarine Of all the 1st vs 4th games this is the most intriguing. After a great start Kippen faltered slightly and got into a huge scrap for that 4th place qualification position. They managed it through grit and determination, they are a hard as nails side to play who have a physical style. The scars of their journey show with one defender an injury doubt and 5 players a yellow card from suspension. Bedford and Herriot will need to be on top form but the manager will have to get his tactics dead on to win this one. This is because they are against Yellow Submarine who after a shaky start won their group and are adept at making chances with Delipiano and Viana masters at carving open defenses. They know Kippen will come out to batter them and close up shop so they will need to play smart football and make their chances count forcing Kippen to come back and counter. Could be closer than it looks. Prediction: Kippen FC 1-2 Yellow Submarine Leeds M.O.T - Silverdale Salmon This tie is an interesting one as it sees two teams who performed above and below their expectations at the start of the group stages. Leeds were seen as many as the victim in the group of death but made it through on the last day in a thriller against Aquila All Stars. They are a confident small side who go out and attack their opponents with formations that don't always prioritize control but rather goals. Jarvie, Howson and Pispek can be a real handful with Pispek already netting 8 goals. Silverdale need to win this game in midfield and then finish it with the chances they make with Wacek and da Luz they have midfielders who have won the top league and can play under pressure. Calderwood can provide the firepower up front and I expect this to be an exciting game but one that Silverdale will win. Prediction: Leeds M.O.T 2-5 Silverdale Salmon Hadens Legends - DRAGOOOOO This is a game where the odds from the bookmakers will be tight as it is either teams to win. Legends are starting to come into their own in midfield with Conden, Burlett and Walters hitting their stride but their defence is sometimes wishy washy and they rely on Mallett for their attacking force. What is more they are without Mulholland in midfield and have injury issues as well. Dragooooo performed very well in the league above expectations in their final season as they destroyed many opponents with Iacapino really hitting his stride with 7 assists however their defence will really miss the suspended Pesiro. This is always a good fixture that Dragooooo has edged in recent times. This one could go either way so I am predicting a draw. Prediction: Hadens Legends 2-2 Dragooooo Lylat Wanderers - Winston Garden Lions The Wanderers made steady progress in their group this season and while always down playing their chances have top league credentials and are in for a shout in this game. What will be important will be allowing Phelan or Pilgrim or potentially both to play the game they want and set up some chances for what is a very capable strike force. At the back Wanderers are very solid so hopefully they will be adventurous and try and stop Winston dictating this game from the start as Lylat cannot afford to sit back. Winston after a shaky start came back and took 2nd place in their group they are another team like DuD who have no real weak spots and another side who you could see as a dark horse to win this competition. Their attack is fast paced and Akera is full of creativity for Winston they need to slow this game down and be methodical they have the stronger side so they need to not take to many risks and make it through to the last 8. Winston have a savvy manager and I can't see him losing this one but it could be close. Prediction: Lylat Wanders 1-2 Winston Garden Lions The Roger Federer Crew - AC Elites If I was only allowed to watch one game in the knockouts it would be this one which is a fantastic looking contest. RFC have looked good but not magnificent this season with their small team sometimes failing to kill of the big games but they did well in a strong group. They are an attacking side at heart with Sauber and Fosatti being the focal point of their midfield but the entire team seems a threat taking away the goalies only two of the team didn't make an assist this season while only three didn't score. On the other side is the juggernaut that is the Elites while they failed to win the group they looked good and imposed their will on many a team. They are well set for penalties if it came to that with several players being ice cool and Gurdsuk in his last season leads a fantastic defense. The Elites are the favorites for this one but I have a sneaking suspicion this will go to penalties. Prediction: RFC 1-1 AC Elites -

Hadens Legends vs Dragooooo This is @Haden vs @Fierce_LiNk It is the story of an admin who gave everything to a manager he knew could one day be champ. This manager at the cusp of his potential then decided to stick two fingers up to authority and go out in a blaze of glory rather than stay and please the former admin. It is the end of the battle between Haden and Fierce Link. Flinky: A couple of seasons ago I told the admin to take xpert and shove it I got tired of sitting on my ass playing a computer game everyone said. Haden: Flinky took his ball and went home after all the hours I PM'd him and coached him in the game. Flinky: I didn't bring your PM's I brought my tactics I guarantee this last run will be my best. Haden: I am here to confront your whiny, failed potential ass Flinky do you remember the last two times we met in the league? Flinky: I beat you not once but twice. Haden: Flinky what you don't understand is this I have done it all in this game I am a three time league winner, I have been unbeaten in a league, won the cup but there is one thing I haven't done. Brought a manager into the league and then when he turns his back on all of us booted him the hell out of the league! This is showtime right now it is not about titles, it is not about dev this is personal. Flinky: You're scared I see it and I can damn sure feel it in your tactics. This is like a cancer in the soul of Haden he has to be the one to get rid of Flinky. For Flinky this is his chance to prove himself at the top of his game and walk out of xpert a winner by beating the man who brought him in. It'll be Haden. It'll be Flinky one on one in the Champions League knockout my god! You will be missed man -

Damn man but it's only one season this is like the ultimate heel turn Peeps with 999 you may want to keep a couple of dead teams in the lower league for training purposes unless we can find some teams quick we need 2 more now right?
