Haden replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Oh god this will now go down to the last game I am sure was hoping to end it on Tuesday. Top league looks spicy rfc and peeps are all that stands in inters way, well done to Winston though try and win final game what a performance from your side this season. I think if this World Cup thing is going to happen it will need some major effort this weekend, gen chit chat thread, pms and a admin post on xpert otherwise it will be to late I think. -

Middle League Report: Week 7 Rossers Rovers 4-1 Russian Revolution One of the big results this week was Rovers beating Revolution 4-1 in a result which has major consequences on the race for 3rd place. Rovers set up with a 4-5-1 formation against Revolution who went for a 4-4-2 set up, it was evident early on that Rovers extra man in midfield would help them out as Tomasencu scored one and set another up to put Rovers 2-0 ahead after 17 minutes. A Fedosov header before half time seemed to kill the game off as Rovers held an amazing 68% possession. Sunnerborn struck back for Revolution just after half time but Rovers still looked dominant and a second header from a brilliant Fedosov killed the game off with 11 minutes to go. In the end Rovers had 10 chances to 2 and were deserved winners. This puts them in a prime position to challenge for 3rd place while Revolution are now almost certainly spending another season in the Middle League. In many ways both these teams seemed dark horses but if Rovers finish above Revolution as it seems they will now do it will be a major achievement for this club. Aqui1a start scoring Aqui1a tried out some new formations last week that netted them 5 goals in total and 4 points. In their first game against Rovers it seemed like a case of the usual problems as despite pushing Daish up to midfield under a 3-5-2 set up they struggled to convert chances although they did get the breakthrough near the end of time with Dmochowski heading it in before Wohldarth pulled one back to make it 1-1. However against Fedex the manager tinkered again and played 3-4-3 pushing Daish up even further to rampage forward at the front of the team. This worked like a charm as they scored 4 in the first half, Isler scored twice with Dmochowski and Dujanic also registering. They have a game off today but as they are facing lower league sides could this late burst of offensive ability give them the 3rd place their fans want? The showdown is now set For the neutral things could not have gone better, Legends vs Coloccini today is now almost a title decider. At the start of last week Coloccini and Legends both registered victories with Coloccini thumping Leeds 4-0 while Legends eased past The Familia 3-1. Coloccini had a game off on Friday while Legends faced Leeds and were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw that saw midfielder Dorien Walters sent off to the fury of his manager who has publicly stated he wishes to sell the playmaker. What this means now is that Legends are 2 points ahead but Coloccini have a game in hand, this means that if Coloccini were to win they would be a point ahead and have a game in hand meaning they would be almost certain winners, a draw would still favour Coloccini but Legends fans would bank on an away game to Kippen FC to be a potential banana skin, a Legends win would be a big blow for Coloccini but they would still be in with an outside chance with Legends facing a tricky last two games. Few would have predicted the title race would involve these two teams duking it out in such a close contest, two managers who have huge respect for each other but a larger desire to win the Middle League. Game on! Kippen keep the points flowing. For Kippen they kept the points flowing with 4 points picked up as they seek to pick up 3rd place and that last promotion spot. They will be very disappointed however with their game against Revolution, playing away Kippen went for a 3-5-2 formation were they had less possession and chances than Revolution but crucially scored 2 goals from McMoist and Ja to give them a 2-0 lead with just over 10 minutes to go. However Revolution pushed forward and a header from Guselnikov made it 2-1 before a Kippen defender gave away a silly penalty in a game that saw 4 yellow cards given to Kippen players. Encarnacao made no mistakes and hit it in to hold Kippen to a 2-2 draw. However Kippen eased the pain by squeezing past The Familia with a dull but comfortable 1-0 win after Lazzarini linked up with McMoist from a corner for the only goal of the game. McMoist had a chance to score another but skied a penalty into the crowd on the 64th minute. At this stage you may rate Kippen as favourites to grab 3rd place but with games against the two title contenders to come anything could happen! Team of the Week Coloccini FC, Coloccini FC, Hadens Legends, Kippen FC, Hadens Legends, Rossers Rovers, Rossers Rovers With a draw away to Aqui1a and a 4-1 thrashing of Revolution it is again Rovers week as they secure Middle League status in style and are looking in good form to finish 3rd. Top Scorers: Ciobotaru and Isler add to their tallies as they both approach 10 goals for the season, while Madeley is in 3rd by himself with 6. Hadens Legends: Ciobotaru 9 Atletico Aqui1a: Isler 8 Coloccini FC: Madely 6 Top Assists: Coloccini players Haslop and Mallo break up the Legends party as things get really tight in the assists table. Hadens Legends: Conden 6 Coloccini FC: Haslop 5 Hadens Legensd: Burlett 4 Coloccini FC: Mallo 4 Top X11s: Daish refuses to let the pace slip while MacSwain, Conden and Burlett stay within a few appearances of the constant leader of the pack. Aqui1a: Daish: 12 Kippen FC: MacSwain 10 Hadens Legends: Conden 8 Hadens Legends: Burlett 8 -

Last minute Transfer News: Hadens Legends Manager player bust up. Now this is a story all about how Dorian Walters life got flipped upside down, I would like you to sit down and listen to why he is on the transfer market. In Hadens Legends born and raised Walters spent most of his days. Chillin out maxin with Conden and Burlett assisting all was cool. When a couple of Leeds players were up to no good starting making trouble in Tuesdays game, he got himself two yellow cards after a long term injury meaning he is a suspended idiot with low dev and 2 games to go. His manager got scared and said you are going on the transfer market straight away. He begged and pleaded not to go from the club but his suitcase was packed he put his walkman on and then kicked it. First class in the Lower League cava from a plastic cup. Is this what Hales plays against in the Lower League? It might be alright! He whistled for a lower league team if anything the teams seemed to lack tactics but he said forget it home to the Lower League. He pulled up to bobs team and yelled yo home smell you later he looked at his kingdom he was finally home to sit as the prince of the Lower League." To summarize: my midfielder Dorien Walters has disappointed me gravely put a bid in before the market closes tomorrow if you are a VIP. -

Like Peeps said you should see a flashing sponsorship icon to get money, it is crucial to train your players especially the young ones and keep their form above 15 to ensure they perform well and progress as players. Some people do play without using the transfer market like myself but ask around dansliketrees buys in players and look at his team he is 2nd in the Elite League! Once your first change report comes out the game will make a bit more sense well done though you are starting to get a few wins under your belt -

This is going down to the wire I can sense it cannot believe I am facing another strict ref with my best defender one yellow away from suspension before the match against Coloccini. Btw Charlie don't you dare get all of your defenders suspended at the same time before you play Coloccini :P -

Middle League Report: Week 6 Nerves kicking in? At the top it was a nervous week as Hadens Legends and Coloccini FC drew a game a piece over the week and won their remaining fixture. For the Legends they were held to a 0-0 draw in a bruising game against Aqui1a that saw midfielder Walters badly injured and four players given yellow cards. Despite these dramatic circumstances Legends 4-5-1 formation saw them fail to make a breakthrough and the game ended in a dull 0-0 draw. For Coloccini they had a much more fiery game against Revolution as the game went back and forth with several chances for both sides, Revolution scored first as Nihai came off the bench to dribble past several defenders and give the home side the lead. A loss would have been very damaging for Coloccini but Haslop saved them from defeat with a captains header with a captains header 5 minutes from time that saw the away end leaping. Coloccini grabbed 3 points in another nervy game from another header when Madeley headed in against The Familia for the only goal of a tight game. Legends easily got a victory against Revolution with Conden, Pachon and Mallett scoring to make it 4-0 to the league leaders. Legends are 1 point ahead with a goal difference advantage of 8 the fixture that pits them against each other a week on Tuesday looks to be the one to look out for but as this week has shown there will be plenty of twists along the way. Rovers 4-2 Fedex United Rossers Rovers enjoyed a dramatic win that saw them leap up to the brink of the last promotion spot in the league. Playing 4-5-1 they beat a Fedex side that put out a 4-4-2 formation. Rovers dominated possession and chances with 14-3 and Fedosov was fantastic at dictating playing setting up both Yushchenko and then Josema for early goals to put Rovers ahead. However Fedex put the pressure back on and a missed challenge gave them a penalty that captain Howarth struck in the corner to make it 2-1 going into half time. After the break the game settled down slightly but Rovers relentless attack saw Granli putting the ball into his own net while trying to head out a corner to give the home side a two goal cushion. This was short lived when Platt who is having a great season for Fedex buried a chance into the top corner to make it 3-2 on the 66th minute. Rovers fans were beginning to rue their teams early wastefulness in front of goal but a bullet header from Yushchenko saw the home side gain a vital three points. This was a really important win for Rovers that sees them move away from relegation and potentially into the unthinkable position of being promoted to the top league. Kippen and Aqui1a stall Both Kippen and Aqui1a threw away chances to move away from the pack with 2 draws a piece including one against each other. For Aqui1a it started with what they will see as a resilient 0-0 draw against Hadens Legends with Daish giving a commanding performance at the back and showing why he may be a candidate for player of the season. For Kippen though they were disappointing against Fedex and nearly embarrassed. In an odd game Kippen despite looking a better side failed to make many chances crafting only 3 while Fedex made 4 and took one on the 60th minute when Hupkes hit in a close range punt. It looked like Kippen were heading for a loss until deep into injury time McMoist hit a shot for nothing at the away goal that flew in for a vital equaliser. When the two sides met it was a very cagey affair with Aqui1a playing 5-4-1 against 4-5-1 from Kippen, Aqui1a despite their defensive outlook made 7 chances to 0 for Kippen but Isler was isolated up front and unable to convert any of the chances. The Kippen fans were booing their team at the end and furious at such a dull style of play against a promotion rival. May both teams look back at this set of fixtures with regret by the end of the season? The Familia 2-0 Leeds M.O.T It looks like these two teams will be playing Lower League football next season so it is interesting to see them clash this week. Leeds played 4-3-3 while the Familia played 5-3-2 and were able to present a more balanced team going forward and defending. The goals came from two crosses that Pedersen and then Auffret nodded in, this is the first time The Familia have scored more than one goal in a game this season so their fans had to check they weren't seeing things when the 2nd goal went in. When the goal was scored the game was really killed off, Burchell did put the ball in the back of the net for Leeds but he was ruled offside although replays seem to show he was onside by quite a margin. This is a morale boosting win for The Familia who are a side who have fallen in stature this season while Leeds troubles continue. Team of the Week Coloccini FC, Coloccini FC, Hadens Legends, Kippen FC, Hadens Legends,Rossers Rovers In a nervy week for many of the big sides Rossers Rovers claim a vital win that see them on the edge of 3rd place and on the edge of legend status. Top Scorers: Ciobotaru and Isler draw blanks leaving Platt and Mallett to edge closer to their totals with goals of their own. Hadens Legends: Ciobotaru 7 Atletico Aqui1a: Isler 6 Fedex United: Platt 5 Hadens Legends: Mallett 5 Top Assists: With multiple players on 3 assists the table now sees the Legends duo Burlett and Conden in 1st and 2nd looking down at the rest of the league. Hadens Legends: Conden 6 Hadens Legensd: Burlett 4 Top X11s: Daish carries on his dominance at the top with some stellar performances with only MacSwain and Conden near his total. Aqui1a: Daish: 10 Kippen FC: Mac Swain 8 Hadens Legends: Conden 7 -

Don't worry first seasons are a nightmare but you will be surprised by how much easier the 2nd one is. ATM your team has some deadweight like ballistic and is also overloaded with youth especially in defence, next season get rid of youths who dont improve and try and rebalance your squad a bit, but well done for persevering what do your devs look like? Middle League Reports: Week 5 Stalemate between superpowers It was double season last week and the big double had to be Coloccini FC who started the week league leaders against Athetico Aqui1a who wanted to make a big statement and move up to third. In the first game Aqui1a went with a 4-5-1 formation against Coloccini with 4-4-2, it was a really tight game with only 5 chances and 1 in the first half. Coloccini earned more possession but Aqui1a scored first when Placente passed the ball in to Isler who found his spot calmly to add to his ever growing number of goals. It looked like Coloccini were heading for a dangerous loss but Vanqueur was set loose with a beautiful through ball from Stockley and made no mistakes hitting it in first time. The game ended 1-1 and the fans were soon talking about the 2nd game. This time both sides played with a 4-5-1 formation and as the game began Stockley the Coloccini captain was badly injured and taken off. Aqui1a crafted a couple of chances but failed to make them count and the game died out with both teams unable to make any headway. In the end it seemed like both were happy with a draw that will keep them in the hunt for the title and 3rd place respectively. New League Leader This did mean however that Coloccini slipped from first place and was replaced by Hadens Legends after they beat Fedex United 3-0 home and away. The first game saw Legends line up with a 3-5-2 formation with Ciobotaru and Pachon scoring to add to a own goal from Platt. The 2nd game saw some beautiful link up play between Conden and Ciobotaru, Conden set two long range shots up for Ciobotaru to rifle home, while he also scored a header to make sure he got a hat trick. A blistering performance from the Legends which left Fedex looking ominously down at the relegation zone. After these results it is clear it is now a straight fight for the title between Legends and Coloccini, the Legends a point ahead with better goal difference and a home game against Coloccini may be considered the favourites but anything can happen. Rovers and Kippen trade wins Rossers Rovers and Kippen FC traded close 1-0 wins in the double to ensure both stay in the fight to get 3rd place but also avoid relegation. In the first game it was action paced as Rovers really went for the win with a 3-5-2 formation, Kippen earned 3 yellow cards and two players were injured as Rovers attacked in the first half. Lazzarini thought he scored for the away side but he was just offside, it looked like it was going to be a draw Strom bagged a vital goal near the end smashing the ball in off the post to give the home crowd something to cheer about. The reverse fixture was quite cagey with both teams playing 4-5-1, an early penalty was given after Bulatov nudged into MacEllar as he ran in the box, MacEllar took the penalty and cooly hit it down the middle for the goal. After this Kippen shut up shop and were satisfied with a one goal lead as Rovers failed to prove much of a threat. In the end both sets of fans will be pleased with this as it keeps their hopes alive. Revolution edges it Russian Revolution got back to winning ways in their double against Leeds, in the first game they dominated possesion and chances making 9-1, however it wasn't until the 56th minute when the captain Guselnikov headed in the first goal of the match. Revolution were in clear control and the game was sealed by two subistutes combining as Bastos crossed it in for Lyubimov to head in to make it 2-0 and give Revolution a deserved win. In the reverse fixture it was a rather odd tie as Leeds set up with a 3-4-3 against 5-4-1 from Revolution, Revolution had all the chances but their isolated attacked failed to trouble the Leeds defence while the Leeds strikers were very frustrated at their lack of service. Both managers seemed bemused by this freak of a game although Revolution will be happier to get an away point. Team of the Week Coloccini FC, Coloccini FC, Hadens Legends, Kippen FC, Hadens Legends The Legends dethroned Coloccini for the first time this season and gave their goal difference a massive boost with two 3-0 victories that see them in pole position in the Middle League. Top Scorers: After a hat-trick Ciobotaru storms into the lead with 7 while Isler adds one to stay in contention, MacEllar becomes the first Kippen player to enter the top 3. Hadens Legends: Ciobotaru 7 Atletico Aqui1a: Isler 6 Fedex United: Platt 4 Kippen FC: MacEllar 4 Top Assists: Grant Conden stretches his lead further moving up to 6 assists while his team-mate Cahill joins the table in equal 2nd. Hadens Legends: Conden 6 Russian Revolution: Alderton 3 Russian Revolution: Encarnacao 3 Leeds M.O.T: Jarvie Hadens Legends: Cahill 3 Top X11s: Daish has a clear lead with 8 appearances while Conden joins the following pack with 6. Aqui1a: Daish: 8 Russian Revolution: Sunnerborn 6 Russian Revolution: Alderton 6 Kippen FC: Mac Swain 6 Hadens Legends: Conden 6 -

In an attempt to fit in with the lads, Suso Pachon tells a joke before training. Unfortunately the joke is actually quite offensive and gets an icy reception from his teammates. Suso Pachon feels embarrassed and doesn't feel part of the team, and his form drops a bit. -

Middle League Reports: Week 4 Mirror Images Coloccini and Hadens Legends were almost mirror images of each other this week as they both earned close away 1-0 victories and beat Russian Revolution 3-1. The 1-0 victories saw Coloccini get past a defensive The Familia with a game that saw just 3 chances, Vanquerer headed in a looping Mallo cross that was the crucial effort just before half time, after this Coloccini playing 3-5-2 were able to dominate midfield and close out the game. Hadens Legends faced a very tough test against Aqui1a away from home, star midfielder Burlett was injured early on and substituted for Cahill who found himself on the end of a beautiful through ball by Zabel on the 31st minute, he slotted the ball past Sullivan to give the Legends the only goal of the match and a crucial 3 points. Both teams also faced Russian Revolution who have been having quite a good season, Coloccini faced them with a 3-5-2 formation and dominated chances 7-1 with Costa being unplayable in the first half setting up two headed goals. Revolution struck back but another header this time by Mallo killed the game off for the home side. The Legends faced them away from home and they also went two up with Cahill heading one in and then setting Mallett up. Revolution got a goal back and after a frantic 2nd half full of chances it was Burlett set up by Cahill who finished the game off with a curling long range shot. With nothing to separate these two sides the Legends vs Coloccini return match is looking to have huge importance. Good week for Kippen: Kippen ended up having a good week despite having to deal with the absence of one of their starting defenders through a lengthy suspension. They faced Aqui1a away in a game many would have seen as one that they would be lucky to get a point from, however lining up in a 4-5-1 formation they were able to stifle a 4-4-2 set up from Aqui1a. Danger was shown early when Galvao had the ball in the net but it was disallowed for a push off play. The game was not full of chances but Kippen had the better half and right when it looked like going to a 0-0 Lazzarini belted in a shot from a corner that found him. This was a great win for Kippen and things just got better when they played Fedex at home creating 10 chances and scoring 3 in the first half. Lazzarini was at the heart of everything Kippen did well with a drilled shot in the 28th minute that went in and then setting up McMoist for a breakaway goal to finish the game before half time. These were two good wins that give Kippen some much needed momentum for the rest of the campaign. Aqui1a derailing? As shown before Aqui1a have had a bad week, losing 1-0 to Kippen and Hadens Legends at home is damaging to the teams morale as these are just the sort of games they would be hoping to win. What is more these are their first losses of the campaign so it will hurt to lose their unbeaten streak. What was clear this week was that the prophecy from last week about needing a stronger strike force was true. Upson and Isler started both matches and the team had seven chances but were unable to convert any of them. This is a worrying statistic for Aqui1a as no matter how strong their defense is as they found out this week if they let in one goal they need to score another to come away with anything. Leeds 2-0 The Familia This was an interesting game as it was between two teams who are desperately short of form and badly needing a win. It was quite an even affair until Brent Chase slid into Aldridge and to the fury of the home team took his legs out, Aldridge had to be taken off by a medical team while Chase was given a straight red. After this Leeds piled on the pressure and in the end it showed as Townshend and Pipsek scored in the last 10 minutes, as the 3 man attack of Leeds was finally too much for The Familia to hold back. This was a good win for Leeds who needed some confidence to come back to their side at home while The Familia things are looking rather bleak this season. Team of the Week: Kippen FC Coloccini FC, Coloccini FC, Hadens Legends, Kippen FC This week Kippen FC are the team of the week, they had to cope with the loss of a starting defender and still managed to beat Aqui1a away from home 1-0 and easily dispose of Fedex 3-0 to give themselves some much needed momentum. Top Scorers: No change this week as Isler and Platt stay on top with the same number of goals. Atletico Aqui1a: Isler 5 Fedex United: Platt 4 Top Assists: Grant Conden moves to the top of the table as Enarnacao and Jarvie move to 2nd. Hadens Legends: Conden 4 Russian Revolution: Alderton 3 Russian Revolution: Encarnacao 3 Leeds M.O.T: Jarvie 3 Top X11s: The field thins slightly as Daish gets his 6th Xpert 11 cap with the Russian duo Sunnerborn and Alderton just behind with 5 each. Aqui1a: Daish: 6 Russian Revolution: Sunnerborn 5 Russian Revolution: Alderton 5 Sorry for the delay had a busy week -
