That camera is mostly aimed at the vlogging crows from what I've heard, haven't checked the specs myself. If you want better pics, buy a better camera. If you're serious into vlogging (or considering getting into it), this may be worth it. If I were you, I'd wait until you're sure you're going to twitch (that's a verb right?),and make due with something else as a webcam in the meantime.

I'm a fan of cheese and tomato. Alright, Bob to the rescue. I posted this question on another forum which initally got me mostly sarcastic and/or confused reactions, as even within photography it seems to be a niche subject. Was wondering if I'd get sarcastic comments over here, but didn't get one until now. I was counting on you @bob! A beanbag (or ricebag as we call 'm over here) can be used to stabilize your camera instead ofg a tripod. One of the more exotic suggestions I got was kinetic sand, so I bought some and i'll try that out later.

@darksnowman, if you're still up, let me know if you want to visit Celeste. -
Heads-up, it's meteor shower season again. Tomorrow night is the best night to view them apparently. I was cycling in the dark an hour ago, and I think I saw one from the corner of my eye. Also saw some satellite. It wasn't the ISS, I've checked just now and the ISS pass over earlier in the evening.

Well yeah, that can happen when you rely on shadowdrop.. They caught me off guard. I simply won't be able to play the game properly right now. I've been playing less in general these days. Regardless, this game is on my must-buy list.

Well, then forget what I said, though personally I'd save my money.

.. Until you run out of power and need to charge it right when you need it.

I honestly would keep a screwdriver as simple as possible. On another forum I visit, some kind of credit card sized multitools are all the rage. Perhaps that's something you're interested in.

Caught up. Haven't done these in a while: Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (2022) - maybe - not into skating games, but this doesn't seem to be purely skating, plus I'm digging the style. Toem - A Photo adventure (Autumn 2021) - maybe - I am into photography games, or at least, I wish there were some more options. I like the style, although I'd have prefered another style for a photography games, but it looks fun enough. Loop hero (Winter 2021) - absolutely not - I bought this game on Steam. That this is another roguelite that disappointed is an understatement, it's the first game I'd paid for and consider having removed from my account. I hate it that much. Far - Changing Tides (Early 2022) - maybe - First game doesn't ring a bell. Artstyle is too simplistic for my taste, but I'm digging the vibe. Necrobarista - Last Round (now) - maybe - I was into this when it was announced, but it's not really doing it for me at the moment. Maybe I'll still give it a chance. Garden Story (now) - no - This look's like theoretically it's up my alley, but footage has never appealed to me. Boyfriend Dungeon (now) - no - Girlfriend dungeon maybe, but this, no. Axiom Verge 2 (now) - absolutely yes - Loved the first, it was my favourite metroidvania before Hollow Knight. Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon (Winter 2021) - no - Simply not for me. Loving the music though. Islanders - Console Edition (now) - no - I love citybuilding games, but it looks to me they stripped down the genre down to something that's not fun. Just busywork. Metal Slug Tactics (2022) - absolutely yes - This is up my alley and it looks great. Tetris Effect Connected - no - As usual, I'm not into action puzzlers. Astroneer (January 2022) - unlikely - I'm not digging the style. Small chance I'm into the gameplay. Hundred Days (Winter 2021) - no - Modern games with "simulator" in the name, are usually ones to avoid for me, exceptions notwithstanding. Looks like busywork. Slime Rancher: Plortable Edition (now) - maybe - Maybe, but probably not. This has been on my Steam wishlist for a long time, but I'm not in the mood for it. LumbearJack (2022) - maybe - Looks too simplistic for me (both artstyle and gameplay), but may be dumb enough to be fun. Curious Expedition 2 (now) - unknown - I would need to see more. Gang Beasts (Autumn 2021) - absolutely not - This looks like Shovelware. Looks absolutely terrible. Eastward (September 2021) - yes - This grabbed my attention first time around, and I'm still looking forward to it. -
(alright, doing a little experiment) I've bought a bean bag. Any recommended fillings? I'm taking into account it may get wet.

That's is most likely going to be 2022, but I'll have the game long before that in this case. Would like an European release though. I have the regular European release of the first game, although apparenty there was some conflict between the game's creator and the publisher.

I don't know. I just got back from the cinema and haven't seen the Direct yet. And I feel like going to bed, so may catch up tomorrow. That said.. Usually I'd wait for a physical. For this one I'd make an exception.. if it weren't for the state of my controllers. I was about to finally contact support, but this is a bit of an inopportune timing.

You could, but you wanted something Italian, and Luca, in my opinion, isn't.
-
Instead, you should watch L'Amica Geniale if you haven't already. A Belgian network is showing reruns tonight, and it reminded me I should get season 2 from somewhere,

Yeah. Saw the Suicide Squad earlier as well. It's entertaining but also mostly forgettable. But it's better than the first. I forgot anything I saw in the trailer though, and didn't read anything about it, so the opening was pretty bold and funny.

August 21 N-E Game Club: DS Edition - Kirby: Power Paintbrush
Sméagol replied to Dufniall's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Out of curiosity I checked if it was available on one of the Dutch webshops I use for games.. They had one for 40 euros for a boxed copy. That's more than I want to spend on a DS game. Edit: That webshop is out of its mind, I see it for 20 euros on another, supposedly new. -
You already mention a cardreader, but I really like my Sandisk Micromate. It's super small.. but not so tiny that you easily drop and/or lose it. I used to carry it with me when I was still carrying my compact camera with me all the time., and it'sstill getting plenty of use. But you can't buy those anymore, though you can buy others with a similar size. If want a mirrorless camera, and once I get one, I'd carry that around every where and all the time. Including accompanying gear, like gorillapods and a mini RGB LED lamp. But that's camera stuff. You might want to look into a mini flashlight though, that could come in handy. And something else I'd want that may come in handy: an E-ink notepad. Things like the Remarkable 2, or one of the Boox alternatives. Sony used to have one, but doesn't support it anymore, and doesn't seem to release new products. These two seem to be the best /most popular currently.

I saw Luca a month ago or something. I absolutely hated it. Didn't care for the story or characters, and absolutely hated all the stereotypical stuff. Characters were too hyperactive while the story made no sense at all, and every minute there was some example of "let's inappropriately throw something Italian in here". Absolute shit.

Not necessarily. If it's a niche product Kickstarter is still a good way to test the waters. -
