Personally I would make sure you get one from a real store. Amazon were still selling people pre-orders of there 360 in late january if i'm right. They just take as many names down as possible. At Woolworths i know that we wait to see how many get allocated to us, then do pre-orders to fill the allocation, and no more. I wouldn't mine if they used friend codes, but each wii had its own friend code, rather than having individual games with individual friends, it just gets messy. I'd like to see what game my friend is playing, so that i can join him, rather than txting back and fourth a million times to make sure we search at the same time to find each other. To be fair were not ready for Blu-Ray and HDTVness in Europe, its only a minority that would currently use these features. So for those who have picked the new ONM will know they have teamed up with Nintendo UK to be able to deliver ten Wii's to lucky people upon the launch as part of a competition. After reading the little article i noticed that the closing date for entries is the 6th of November, which means that the Wii will be getting released post the 6/11/06. So I entered the competition, and got the question right, Woohoo!!! And I find out if i have won a Wii in the 11th Issue of ONM, which is due for release on 24th of November. So surely this means a futher delay for the Wii. Why would they say find out if you've won on the 24th, if say the Wii is released at an ealier date? I wouldn't need to read ONM to find out ive won, because i'd have my Wii right here with me. Does this mean the Wii will be released after the 24th of November! I hope not!!

I've heard about this law, don't worry your self, they will most probally bring the law in within the future, but they sure as hell are not going to make everyone buy new TV's, Computers, Consoles overnight.
