  2. Not the grandest extraction job I've seen, and kind of boring colors. 6/10 PS: My avatar is bigger than yours.
  3. Really can't complain. Full of style and atmospheric as usual. Really nice, although nothing is perfection, eh? 9.8/10
  4. I really like it. Not boring, and shows some good style. Like the unique boarder, and the effects of blood and such are top notch. Nothing is perfect though. 9.5/10
  5. Very cool. Like the unique shape and the way you created the boarder. 9/10
  6. Pretty good. Could benifit from a simple boarder I think. Maybe a cleaner font as well. 6.7/10
  7. Looks nice, but personally I think there is too much color. Overall, the graphics and the design of it do look really nice though. 7/10
  8. Looks decent. I'm not a fan of the colors or anything. 6.8/10 ---------- I loved Zelda, so I went ahead and made a new signature and avatar to show that. Been a long time since I've made a new one. We'll see what you guys thing of it.
  9. It would be very small like the other's up on our media page. I'll try and get it up next time I get a chance and conor's around.
  10. Thank you, glad you like it. Maybe I'll slap an NE logo on it, and get it up there. What you guys think?
  11. Do you have the ability to size down the 1680x1050? I think that is the same aspect. Let me know if not, and I'll make it for you.
  12. You know when you just get that itch to make something? Ya... this was the result. I figured I'd post it here for all to enjoy. Wii FTW! 1280x1024 1600x1200 1680x1050
  13. Nothing I can really complain about. The Marshmellow text at the bottom does look a bit off if I had to pick something. 7/10
  14. I just took a fan from a different power supply, and swaped them. Was a pain, but it seems to have fixed it.
  15. Well, as great as those both sound, don't think they're going to happen. I know it can be fixed, as it can be stopped. I just don't feel like holding my hand down there forever. What causes a fan to do that? Something unbalenced, a ball-bearing..?
  16. Hey guys, got a quick question for you techies. I recently (About two months) got a new old PSU. It is the old one from my mom's computer. My old one got way too hot, and blew up. Anyhow, the "new" one very recently began to make an awful buzzing/vibrating/grinding type of noise. I greased the PSU fan, and it seemed to stop for about a week. Though, it has returned. I'd really love to stop it for good. It seems that when I push on the metal casing right in front of the fan, it stops. So, anyone know how that sort of thing might be fixed without buying a new one? Thanks.
  17. Not really my style. I guess it is well presented though. 7/10
  18. Nope, scanners are actually too bright, and they don't get the same negative effect of an actual photogram.
  19. Yup, Wikipedia saves the day. They are really fun, if you guys get a change, definatly try them out.
  20. Hello. I've been doing some photograms in a summer honors program at my local college. I havn't seen any on RE, so I figured I'd make a thread for them, and start by posting one. Sorry is it so big, but the detail was just soo awesome, I couldn't down-size. Post/talk about photograms here.
  21. Here is a picture I took of my DS, and my friends DS.
  22. Hey, I just updated my screenshots. It has been a while. Same basic theme as a while ago, just more... new. Here is one screenshot: For a bunch of them, including the skins behind many of the Apps I often use, head to this link: http://zeldalinks.net/hosted/justin/Desktop%20Backgrounds/My%20Desktops/4-17-2006/ Enjoy, and questions/comments always welcome.
  23. I may be wrong, but I could of sworn that was Conor.
  24. Just to clear up the basic idea of a vector image: A vectored image refers to one that can scale infanantly without interpolation. Or, in easier words, can be resized to any scale without loosing any quality. Vectors are used for a lot of things, such as logos. Their main idea is that they can be highly sized up for printing on large posters and such. I am rather new to vectors, but I got Adobe Illustrator, and have played around alot. They have a strong purpose, and are a good thing to get to know. Though you have to reilize their boundaries. For example, you can not easilly vectorize a photograph. Vectors usually are simple solid or gradianted patterns. The vector style, such as the wallpapers at DA refers to this simple solid colored based design. Though they probably were not made in true vector form, they use the idea behind it. Hope this helps out a bit.
