For some reason I find the Japanese version to be a bit more tolerable: The music in first half of that trailer is pretty cool though, kind of got Konami's old-school funky vibe to it. Seriously though, what the hell does RTP have to do with it, or is the guy that wrote that IGN review just being a weirdo?

Yeah, according to everyone bar Konami and NoE. Anyway, I added it back to the list. Fingers crossed it makes it as I could really do with a new Wii game.

Yeah I really hope Eledees does come out next week, but I won't be at all surprised if it does slip yet again. I mean we're like 6 days away now and there's still no official confirmation! Konami's site just says April 2007, as does NoE's Q2 list.

Yeah I've got it as well so I won't be getting it for VC. Unless by some miracle they did include the Expansion Pack from the DD, then I'd definitely get it.

Yeah I guess Spider-Man is a dead cert, to tie-in with the movie release so I've added it back to "Coming Soon". If anyone can find the confirmation for Cooking Mama or any of the other games I'd appreciate it. Yeah I wonder why they left that bit of info out? Seriously though that article was insulting, not to mention embarrassing for NoE. First they give Europe a shit release schedule and then go on to try and scare people about mod chips so they won't take advantage of their incompetence. Unbelievable. How about they just get the games to us in a reasonable time frame, comparable to the JPN/US release dates so people don't need to result to using mod chips!

While I'm pretty sure all of those dates will stick, there's still no confirmation (to my knowledge) for any of those dates from the publishers. So yeah they can stay on TBD for now.

I strongly believe (and hope) the Eledees date of 04/05/07 will stick this time (what with pretty much every retailer having that date) but it's still not been confirmed by Konami or NoE. So yeah the [?] system has been dropped as it's too much hassle when games keep changing dates every five seconds, I'd much rather the focus of this list is on the confirmed stuff.

Yeah that is pretty cool. That game looks mental! Glad to hear you're enjoying Mystical Ninja flameboy. Are you playing with the Classic controller? I picked one up yesterday, (got bored of waiting for HMV ) really cute controller, much smaller than I was expecting! Feels great though, just a shame about the need to be connected to the Wii Remote, would've been 100% perfect if it was wireless. Interesting how they don't mention the mysterious button / clip device thingy in the manual. Wonder if we'll ever see a use for that.

Yeah, I mean it's great that Europe has a new release date and everything, but I'm really struggling to get excited about RE4: Wii Edition. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the game it's just that having played through it so many times already the motivation to do it all over again with new controls isn't really there. I'll most probably be getting it though for the extra stuff (that should have been in the GCN game in the first place! ) Separate Ways should be good, it'll be nice to play as Ada some more. :wink: Hopefully Capcom will stick to their promise and it'll be a budget title too.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition now has a confirmed date by NoE, it's out on the 29th of June. Yeah, that's one of the main reasons I want it too. I never got on with the editor in Timesplitters though, it would pretty much always make my Gamecube crash!

Yeah I think you're right, they definitely look like the Gamecube models, but I think they hold up pretty well actually. When they're right up close on screen shots they look a bit dodgy, but in motion on the gameplay video I think they look alright. They probably could do with a little bit of polish, but I don't reckon Capcom will though. Personally I wouldn’t mind if things stay as they are now.

Err... I think the post just above yours has a pretty good suggestion. Anyway, Kirby's Adventure is good. But Mystical Ninja is better. :wink:

I decided to download Mystical Ninja earlier on today, quality game. Just as good as I remember it! Really humorous dialogue and great music too. Konami were so awesome back in the SNES era. Looking forward to Eledees, but I hope Konami show a lot more support for Wii. A new Mystical Ninja game would be very cool indeed. Seriously though, if anyone has 800 points burning a hole in their virtual pocket, get this game. It's worth it for the mini-games alone, gotta love mini-Gradius!

The fact that this has practically the same visual quality as the pre-rendered stuff from the GCN games but in full 3D is pretty damn impressive I reckon. I'm looking forward to it much more than the Wii Edition of RE4 at the moment. One of the things that slightly annoyed me with RE and RE0 on the Gamecube was that Capcom had created such fantastic zombie character models but you hardly ever got to appreciate it due to the static camera angles. That's why I really like the fact this is in a first person view, so we can get to see the zombies up-close... ...Before blowing them up in to tiny pieces!

Yep, most of the online retailers now have Eledees down for the 4th of May, so hopefully the date will stick this time. Konami's official site still claims the game is out in April, but I can't see it happening myself. Still, if it does come out on the 4th of May it's not all that long to wait now anyway. My anticipation for the game is at an all time high though, what with the current lack of quality titles. It'll be nice to get the last "launch" game out of the way too, well for me anyway. I know a lot of people will still be waiting for Trauma Center and Pangya but I'm not really interested in either of those. So once Eledees is out I can get back to being annoyed about no date for Super Paper Mario.

Make that 3 now that Wing Island is out. Seriously bad. I think it's blatantly obvious they're just holding back games until production issues are sorted, they don't want the hardware shortages to have an adverse effect on software sales. Probably a smart business move for Nintendo, but fucking annoying for current Wii owners in need of new decent games.
