Nards Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Hey Background info?: My computer, Wii ect. is in my room and 2 floors below in basement is the family computer with the Modem. I have wireless internet going to my room. Probelm: Can I stick my wireless internet reciever into my Wii and use the wireless internet that way?(its a usb thingy; wii has usb ports) My Wii detects the wireless modem thingy but I cant download the hardware update..I get an error :\
Jackster Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I don;t think your Wii will support the USB adapter as it most likely requires drivers, and I don't think the Wii can have more drivers installed onto it. Does it give you any information? An error code? Some sort of description of what went wrong?
arab_freak Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Right after launch, Nintendo fixed a bug in the SD memory card management screen. They also changed the title screen that appears when you turn on the Wii.
Nards Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Jackster: zomg the drivers! Well that puts and end to my question =) Shorty: Theres a hardware update, like I said. I guess its the SD card update thing arab_freak mentioned there. And I checked support.nintendo.com for the error but I got no help when I typed the error code into the search box, lawls :S Mm, Maybe I should try connecting to my computers p/w'd connection...but I dunno the p/w :\ lawls HMM
CooInTheZoo Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 They also changed the title screen that appears when you turn on the Wii. pic? (ten ten ten)
arab_freak Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Just watch the 3 videos some dude posted in the front page of N-Europe. He says the changes were made to the boot splash and SD Memory Management.
