It keeps trying to update the platform but it will only get to x% and then restart again. It will just keep doing this untill I cancel it. I've tried deleting the clientreigstry.blob, closing the process but it still dosn't fully update. Ramar Posted October 22, 2006 Share Posted October 22, 2006 Have you tried the dreaded remove and reinstall? If you do that make a Steam back up and a seperate back up of your maps. Calza Posted October 23, 2006 Author Share Posted October 23, 2006 I downloaded and installed Steam again, and it fully updated but none of my games were installed It had a made a Steam folder instead of the Valve folder where it used to be. I didn't bother copying it across as I had tons of maps and sounds from CSS that I wouldn't use again so i'm downloading it all. I'll leave it downloading tonight but its going to take ages as i'm getting the worst speeds ever. The Dark Messiah skin was DEFINATELY worth the hassle.
