The next big thing in PC RPG deserves its own thread for discussination.

 

Hellgate: London, is a first/third person RPG set in a future apocalyptic enviroment. A demon invasion has crippled earth, and it is up to you to play the hero. You have an arsenal of both ranged and melee weapons, wich you can upgrade and customize, as well as magic skills and abilities.

 

The world itself changes. A map generator creates a new area each time you play. And if you wish to play online, a MMO-like experience awaits. Many people consider this the next Diablo, in 3D.

I am looking forward to this game big time

 

still not much info out there on it atm and think it's still down for a early 2007 release just now, but being that the guys that are making it are ex blizzard expect to see it slip a bit (anyone who remember Diablo 2 knows what I mean )

Specs not known yet. Though i expect them to be on par with Half Life 2 or lower. At least you will be able to play the game on a relatively old machine.
