Ramar Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 I was converting a flash video for my iPod. It kept failing so I thought I would watch the video in the converter, the colour was kind of bright, lots of white patches and hardly any colour. I assumed this was just the converters crapness in playing the video. Until I tried to watch a video in media player and the colour was like that on there. I check the contrast and brightness settings and nothing can get the picture back to how it was. I updated media player to version 11 beta. But that didn't help. Quicktime videos work fine, and the colour on my monitor for other applications is fine too. I'm now running a spyware scan, but I doubt its that. Anyone got any ideas to help me.
Konfucius Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Do you still have the original file, maybe it got corrupted while you converted it or because it failed. Did you try to open the video with another player too, maybe it's only a bug in WMP or that converter software.
Ramar Posted July 19, 2006 Author Posted July 19, 2006 It would appear the problem has sorted itself. I turned the pc off after making the thread. Just come back onto it now, and its fine. Odd. Thanks for replying anyway Konfucius.
