dazzybee Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Hi guys, hope someone can help or signpost me somewhere else. My Japanese Gamecube wont turn American anymore, the switch is f****d, anyone know how to get it to work? Im guessing opening it up is the way to go but I javent got a clue!!
daftada Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 This happened on mine, I pushed the switch one day and it snapped off the casing and disappeared into the depths of my cube. I had to hack the back of the grill off and tape the switch permanently on US, luckily I only had one JAP game. If the actual switch is broken you might be able to change it yourself or get a friend who knows a bit about electronics to do it for you. Otherwise...well...
Hudsoo Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Could just use a Freeloader disc or a Action Replay device (ok so guess you knew they existed......ah too late i am) to play games from Europe/USA/Japan depending upon which region you are in
dazzybee Posted September 26, 2005 Author Posted September 26, 2005 Ive got a freeloader but what about may saves!?! And its a bit of a waste of conole isnt it!? A winning eleven machine!?! Oh well, I may go crazy and try and 'fix' the problem!
Hudsoo Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 so that means damage it more??? good luck (no really, i hope you do fix it)
