Aimless Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Why hasn't there been an attempt to moon land in quite some time... Because the Space Race was a product of the Cold War, so as that spirit of superpower one-upmanship dissipated so did public interest and funding along with it. Once something's been achieved we take it for granted; public perception is all about firsts. I'm afraid most things have an entirely terrestrial explanation readily available. And as a bonus they tend to highlight the many failings of our species.
