flameboy Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 (edited) British comic anthology The Dandy is to feature a strip based on comedian Harry Hill. According to Bleeding Cool, the TV Burp host will not be involved in the development of the comic, but his likeness will appear in its interior and on its cover. Hill's writing team - led by David Quantick - have contributed to the strip, which will be included in the title's comeback issue later this week. Publisher DC Thomson has also confirmed that Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson will appear on the cover of a future issue. Paj! Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Well do you read The Dandy? I assume not. I dislike Harry Hill, but I have no opinion on him appearing in a children's magazine. Fun fact: D.C Thompson (the company that publishes Beano and Dandy) is my friends family business on his mum's side.
The Peeps Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I always preferred The Beano... But I do like Harry Hill. Not read either comic in years though and I doubt it'll make me buy it. I'm too old to be buying The Dandy
