Bioshock: Infinite

Recommended Posts

I found it to be pretty disappointing. The combat in the game wasn't amazing to begin with, and it's even worse in enclosed places. On top of that, the enemies respawn (unrealistically so at times) and in some rooms a second set of enemies suddenly appear when you trigger something, so you have the same battles in the same places and it just ends up getting tiring. It was short, but I couldn't wait for it to finish.

As for the story

The first past was great, just walking around Rapture in it's prime, listening to people talk, doing non-combat missions.

People have praised this. Honestly, I thought it was nonsense designed purely for shock value. We'll see if there's any merit to it in the next game, but I think Ken Levine has realised that the fans are willing to fill all the gaps if things are left unexplained, especially with a twist.
