Eddage Posted December 4, 2005 Share Posted December 4, 2005 I recently purchased a a surround sound reciever for DVD, Gamecube, TV, etc and was wandering if there was any way to set it up so that it will work with my PC. The reciever I have can be found here and if you want to know what connections it has then you can go here and find them on page 12. I'm guessing that I would have to buy a new sound card that could possibly link to the reciever via the optical ports and I have found this one that I think should probably work, however I just wanted to check with you guys (who I should imagine know a lot more about this sort of thing than I do)! EDIT: After looking at some reviews on sites the card I've been looking at is apparetnly a bit dodgy, however this one has seen some great reviews and so if that will link up with my reciever then I'll probably go for that one instead.
