Posted October 29, 2009 It depends if the eBay page is wrong about requiring the video signal to be in 480i, since your monitor isn't going to be able to display 480i. Personally, I would recommend one of these: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-10z-49-en-70-2jp6.html It will also work with a PS3 if you have one or are planning on buying one. Yup monitors can't display 480i you can only use 480p which also means any VC or Gamecube games won't work because they display in 576i. I'm not sure about the quality of those cables TBH I personally used to use these Vdigi ones until I bought a Monitor with tv tuner recently : http://www.vdigi.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=2&category_id=3&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 but they are quite expensive. Posted October 31, 2009 Do the european virtual console games really not support progressive scan? Anyway, The Mayflash one isn't bad, the only problem with it is the screen goes black for a second every once and a while, but its not really a big deal.
