Rummy Posted November 4, 2009 Author Share Posted November 4, 2009 Actually I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that mixed race people are generally considered to be more attractive. Something about not having extreme features or something. Average of faces, probably. There's been a few face experiements I've seen where they get like 100 faces or so and average them all together into one face, and that face is generally seen as rather attractive. Obviously being mixed race isn't such an extreme dilution, but I think there's evidence to show there's still an effect between a mix of small numbers, compared to like...none. I saw nobody mentioned it, but was wondering if anyone watched the How Racist Are You thing on thursday night? It was...interesting, in part, though tbh I think the time they had and the stuff they showed wasn't apt, I think the woman's experiement/workshop/whatever you want to call it is slightly outdated, but it definitely highlighted some things for me.
