sagat Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 (edited) I read an article in the Sunday Times tech section about Gaikai. It was obviously written by a journalist with limited game knowledge. I did not google for more info at the time but was suprised to see a Dave Perry listed as founder (Shiny entertainment?) I think this won't last long like the rest of them. http://www.walloftext.info/2009/07/gaikai-vs-onlive-no-smoke-and-mirrors.html Edited July 27, 2009 by sagat
Shino Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 And the other Gakai co-founder is Portuguese. :P From what I understand OnLive promises gaming at the highest level with the best graphics, which is impossible to achieve with the current infrastructure. Gakai however promises gaming and other services at SD resolutions that scale according to the user connection, focusing on those people that solely play flash games or mafia wars on facebook and don't care for graphics or high end computers.
