Maverick Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 "I've got consoles at home but I wouldn't sit and play an 18-rated game with my family on the Wii," he said. "Is there space in the Wii market for that? I think there is, but again, it's all about finding out how big that is. Is it 5 per cent? If it's five per cent of the market and you can own that space it's worth doing because you can achieve volume. If you can't own it at five per cent, it's not worth doing, quite frankly," he added. Brennan said that the company isn't going to announce a dedicated label for the Wii as some of its rivals have, and it isn't about to churn out sugar-sweet titles for the tween market. "We're not going to establish a new range and call if 'My Girly Game Range' or whatever these other companies are doing, it's so me-too and boring. " For real, For real, After recently playing Fallout 3 i believe these guys are a talented bunch and understand how to immerse you into a playground they have created. I look forward to hearing more and more to the point this is quality news.
Nolan Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 its this game from the Sness Gods I loved that game when I was younger, it was hard but damn fun. If it's another Fallout you're in for a fucking treat but they are already making another one on other consoles. I think for Wii they should do a more linear game with better set-pieces than Fallout. I love the retroness that Bethesda include in their games. The story telling/writing and stuff like the PipBoy are brilliant. Actually atm Beth isn't really doing much with Fallout. They just released the third bit of DLC, and are compiling it into one package for retail. Obsidian Entertainment however is working on Fallout New Vegas. Also, the retro-ness storytelling/writing and the pipboy are hardly attributable to Bethesda. They may have directly made Fallout 3's story, but they had Interplay/Black Isle's stuff to work off of. Their PipBoy is different than the old PipBoys but still server the same purpose. Really it just has a nicer screen and different controls than the PipBoy 2000. Mind you, I'm not trying to say Beth is bad at those things, the Elder Scrolls universe is very fleshed out and well done, but in the case of Fallout they aren't fully responsible. Or they could do something like the first 2 Fallout. Do you mean like the 2D isometric turn based system or what?
