Daniel Posted September 25, 2008 Share Posted September 25, 2008 Recently bought these Philips Dual VoIP Skype phone things so i can call my girlfriend at uni for free. I was wondering if anyone knew about the costs though? I know skype to skype is free, but if i want to ring out to a landline or mobile i need skypecredits. Because it is 'duel' though, it is connected to my landline too, and it rings when the homephone rings, so if i was to pick it up when the landline rings would i be charged at all? Thinking about it logically i havent given any payment details to anyone so im not sure how i could be charged but i just wanted to be sure. Plus would i be able to use the handset as a normal phone with no extra charges just like a standard phone? Its all a bit confusing :S Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
