CoolFunkMan Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 I have my student loan coming in soon, so I decided it'd be a good idea to get a new camera, as it would probably benefit me. At the moment, I have a Kodak EasyShare CX6230, which be this one: It's quite slow at taking images, and is only 2.0 megapixels, which was good in the day but doesn't really hold up that well any more, imo. The camera I was hoping to get is this one, a Fuji FinePix S5800: However, I normally go to a lot of gigs/concerts, and I also like to take photos whilst I'm there. As you can probably imagine, most venues don't like the idea of this. The problem with that camera would be that it's quite chunky, and would be hard to get into a gig. Then again, it isn't too much bigger than my old camera. So it's either I go for a more compact option, or go for that camera. Has anyone got any ideas? I'm thinking about a £150 budget, although I can go slightly over if I need to, possibly even up to £200. Thanks in advance if anyone can help...
Fields Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 £150-£200 should get you a nice sony T-series. Very compact, very sexy, excellent picture quality (although I'm not a camera geek so I can't say much more than that I'm afraid).
McPhee Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Cannon A570 IS Has some cracking reviews and has a very good rep as a camera for those who want to learn more about photography. Although it's quite big too, so maybe someone knows of a good slimline camera?
