Jasper Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 I bought an official SD-card from SanDisk (512Mb) and an SD card reader. I think there's a problem with the reader, but I'll give it a go anyway: -On MY mac: it reads Flash cards through the card-reader, but no SD. Although it has popped up on my desktop once, it never does this anymore. -On my PARENTS windows-pc: it reads all cards fine. See, it can't be the SD card itself that it can't read, because it works on a windows computer - so there's no damage to the card. But the reaader isn't malfunctioning either, since it reads Flash formats on all OS-es and SD format on Windows. And it can't be the drivers, since it once - a while ago - popped up on my mac desktop, too, but it doesn't anymore. The SD card is FAT32 formatted (and I formatted it normal FAT, too, once, but it didn't make any difference)... Anybody knows the problem here?
Emasher Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 if you have the finder preferences set to not show dvds cds and iPods the SD card won't show up. but then the flash card shouldn't of shown up. you could try using another usb port. wait a sec was the card locked
Jasper Posted March 30, 2007 Author Posted March 30, 2007 Locked? SD Cards? And why do they work in windows, then? And my finder shows DVD, CD's and multimedia cards... And I've tried on both USB ports...
