Hi, I have configured my WII thru my Wireless Access Point and have succesfully verified the connection and updated to version 2.0E.

When i have selected internet \ agreement i get an error that Wiiconnect is not available.

When i ping my WII from my laptop i get reply's when i test the connection and check for updates but when i try to make a connection thru internet \ agreement i only get time-outs.

Do i need a replacement or does anyone have an idea??? :hmm:

Have you tried restarting your Wii, testing a friend router perhaps? or have you tried to connect through the Wii Settings > Page 3 > System update? If not, email Nintendo with your problem, they might know the solution.

Edit by Moria: What you posted before is the reason why not many new members stick around.

Hey, don't be hating the new members! What better way for people to join the forums and realise how great they are?

Where abouts do you live? I've heard rumours about not all services being available in all areas, dunno why not. I think you can't actually use WiiConnect until accepting the agreement actually, so your problem lies therein. Best bet in this circumstance might be to contact Nintendo about it.

Thanx guys,

I think Jasper has a big attitude problem but thats fine with me.

I had this problem since last Christmas and have already contacted Nintendo about this, they said it was to complicated so the only thing i could do was to phone them.

Since then i have visited many fora without finding an answer.

Till now, i read you all of your support forum and stumbled across questions about formatting your WII(???).

I googled and finally decided to do it.

When i formatted my WII i could finally accept the internet agreement and everything works fine now....

Good for you that it works. I don't have an attitude problem. but there have bein so many threads lately about people having a Wii-problem that could be posted in another. I helped you (or tried to) didn't I? So there's no reason to blame me, I was just trying to say that this could have gone in antoher thread (and I'm tired of members signing up and startiong a topic - at least post in the one that's meant for it.) Sorry if I sounded harsh.
