Custom Built PC : Help

Hey,

 

Im going to be building myself a PC, well, getting a friend to build it, but i need to pick and choose wot i want to go in it, and wot case etc.

 

iv kind of picked a case, im liking http://www.nzxt.com/Trinity.php , it looks cool, but not OTT,

 

now this is were i need help, wot shud i put in it? lol.

 

I want a very good graphics cards, i hear the 7800GTX or sumthin is gud lol?

 

but wot will run with it, and i need 2 bog standard dvd-rw drives, thats about it really, i have a screen sorted out (27inch ) and i need a decent PC to match, i want to try and spend under 1000, but just over wont matter.

 

Please if you can help me, cud u post links to the items so i can order them.
