CoolFunkMan Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I have some work that needs to be printed off for my uni projects, and some of the final documents have sections touching and/or bleeding off the edge. The problem I have is that when I try to print out a page, I always get white margins around the edge. I know this is usual for printing. The problem is that all my work needs to be in for next Wednesday. Is there any way I can get rid of the pesky borders and print on a full page? I'm using a HP psc 1317. Thanks in advance if anyone can help...
Konfucius Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 It depends on your printer. Some printers don't allow border-less printing. But when you are in the Print "Menu" (Strg+P) there's a Properties button. Klick it and look through the tabs. There may be an option for borderless printing. Otherwise there should be a "fit to page" option or something like that.
CoolFunkMan Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 Gah, looks like there isn't an option for it. Thanks anyway though. I can't fit all my work to the printer's borders either. My lecturer's are demanding that everyone uses the exact sizes.
Twozzok Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Try going to a proper printing place, or see if any of your friends has a printer that has this feature. If not, just explain this to your lecturers before hand and see if they can do anything about it.
CoolFunkMan Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 I'm considering all those options atm. There no harm in asking around after all, ty for the help anyway
