colormonkey Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 I have just moved my Logitech Z-5500 from my pc to the tv, and i want to connect it to my Gamecube and future-Wii. But i have newer really understood how it is possible. A have a RGB-Scart-cable that connects to the analog output and into the tv, so how am i supposed to connect the speakers? If i use the RCA-stereo outputs on the tv with a RCA -> 3.5-jack cable i will only get Stereo. The problem is the same on Wii ... right? So i better fix this now
blender Posted November 30, 2006 Posted November 30, 2006 use the optical lead and plug it into memory slot C
Bogbas Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 You need something that separates the left and right audio channels from the RGB cable. For example you would connect the GC to one of these: http://www.maplin.co.uk/images/full/mk36.jpg and use a scart-to-scart cable to connect your tv to it. And then plug the rca-to-3.5 between that box and the logitechs unit. And you need to set that logitech to movie mode apparently... And don't forget to enable surround option in the game's sound options. The TV's audio out should also work, but if it doesn't I guess that it passes the signal through some kind of filter that screws up the pro logic II encoding.
