MS will soon be releasing a Vista Performance and Reliability Pack to all Vista users, which sounds a little like Service Pack 0.5 to me!Here is a list of some of the improvements:
* Increased compatibility with many video drivers.
* Improved visual appearance of games with high intensity graphics.
* Improved quality of playback for HD DVD and Blu-ray disks on large monitors.
* Improved reliability for Internet Explorer when some third party toolbars are installed on Vista.
* Improved reliability of systems that were upgraded from XP to Vista.
* Resolves an issue where creating AVI files on Vista may get corrupted.
* Improves the performance of Vista's Memory Manager in specific customer scenarios and prevents some issues which may lead to memory corruption.
Get them now if you like:
* Performance Update - KB938979 - This one has some networking related fixes as well as fixes for some hibernation weirdness, as well as a possible fix for the now-legendary Explorer "estimated time remaining" issue.
* Compatibility Update - KB938194 - This one contains mostly video driver related fixes.

I think its 6" tall.Wow! That's massive!

Has anyone here used both a blue ray player and a HD DVD player? I was just wondering what the differences are from a users perspective.

I spend all day at work behind a desk so any game controller that requires a desk to properly use (i.e. mouse and keyboard) is an instant No No for me.
Sofa + Wireless Controller + Massive HDTV + no fucking about with drivers = win for me

I agree with Takeo on this one, the Edge review put me off a bit... I'll probably give it a rental.

That's some crazy stuff. How fast must he be flicking that thing?I'm scared to look at that video from this description. Especially as I'm at work... is it safe?

Moffet wrote that weeping angels episode which was cool so I'd be happy if he got the job.

My Wii has only ever crashed whilst playing melee. It said "dish unreadable". Even though the disk was perfect.
That's what you get for putting plates in your Wii

How soon.....?There's an late Beta version available to download now on the microsoft site, but I'd recommend waiting for the final version to be released via Windows Update, which should be this month.

Part 2 is now up and linked to on the first post. This part is about Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion.

2 looks like shinobi and 3 looks like monkey island, or one of the lucasarts adventures!

.....Ill find a source later, but Mandarin was confirmed before Iron Monger.I read that Mandarin has a small cameo in this one and that Iron Monger is the main baddie now, although the initial script had Mandarin they decided to drop him for the 2nd movie (if it gets made)

To be honest, anything that makes computer users look slightly more cool than the cliche computer nerd will make my life/profession a bit easier so well done them if that's what it's doing!
